Video of nine songs from Radiohead's first Berlin show, filmed at the far far right of the front row (you'll know when they zoom out early, it's a very weird angle). After a few days off in Berlin, which Thom comments on with happiness, Radiohead play the first of two German shows and give this night a very interesting setlist - four TKOL-era B-sides, 'Videotape', 'Planet Telex', and a beautiful Björk tease. The setlist is changed up a bit from the 2021 shows - a new song from the SZNS  project, three Pinkerton -era tracks (including a bizarre TikTok hit), and the Metallica cover that Rivers has dreamed of doing for decades. There's no two ways about it: this is possibly the worst bootleg recording I've ever heard. While most of the show is a fairly typical 1984 setlist, there's a few other gems - 'Pale Blue Eyes' opening, presumably upon audience request; 'Radio Free Europe' being paused partway through and then (hilariously) picked up where they left off; a cover of their beloved Byrds; and a harmonica solo. (By my count, the 250,000th total upload to the Live Music Archive. Long may it reign.) A bit muffled in times (the recorder was kept in a pocket, with mics sticking out), but still a nice tape of Godspeed's Bristol show on a European tour - with a setlist featuring the first 'Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls' since 2015! An advantage of having your band's guitar tech be a musician in his own right is that you're able to bring them on tour with you as an opening act. So here's Kevin Doria, under the name 'Humming Amps', performing two loud, serene drones during his 40 minute set opening for Godspeed You! Black Emperor .

Moving inland for a bit as a final warmup show for Primavera LA, this Vegas setlist is a killer with another good capture (heavy on bass, as expected). Opening with the great one-two punch of 'Somewhat Damaged' into 'Letting You', playing two Bowie covers back to back, the always-appreciated 'The Becoming', 'Down in It', and a great encore.
