The Meader Historical Directory was compiled during the 1930's and 1940's by Robert Meader.  Contained within the 36 volumes are both biographical sketches and historical essays on people and organizations in Kalamazoo County.  Included, are many photographs of the people and the buildings where organizations met.  Within the text, some dates have been blurred to provide privacy for those individuals still living.  An unedited version of the text is available at the Kalamazoo Public Library.
