from west palm beach. >> reporter: dave and kaylee, the president will wake up here in south florida. the president was criticizing a federal appeals court judge in california for blocking the president's asylum order. >> they file in the ninth circuit. this was an obama judge. i tell you what, it's not going to happen like this anymore. everybody who wants to sue the united states, they file their case in the ninth circuit. it means an automatic loss. >> reporter: that led to chief justice weighing in on a political matter. he said there are no obama judges. no bush judges. no clinton judges. there are members of the judiciary. the president remarked back on

kaylee. happy thanksgiving. the big story is the bitterly cold temperatures impacting the northeast. bundle up to step outside. 20 plus record low temperatures set this morning alone. that continues into tomorrow morning with another 20 or more record low temperatures. you factor in the wind and it gets extremely cold. that impacts the macy's thanksgiving day parade. we are monitoring the conditions closely. the good news is there is light at the end of the tunnel. winds relax and temperatures slowly start to rebound. we have to get over two bitterly cold temperatures where windchill values remain in single digits for the most part. actual high temperature is 27 degrees for the big apple. 39 for chicago. nation's capital is 35. 60 for atlanta. look at the temperatures for saturday and sunday in new york city with rain for saturday afternoon. back to you. derek, happy thanksgiving.

giuliani says the president's lawyers are willing to answer follow-up questions from mueller's team. scary moment for nearly 300 holiday travelers on an amtrak train headed for mondtreal from new york. one passenger said he saw the cars break-away from his seat in another car. he said one yanked the emergency brake. >> we were at the front where the cars separated. we saw the sparks in the front by the entry where you walk between the cars. all this noise and then we slowed down and the rocks started flying in. we finally slowed down to the point where we stopped. we were not sure what was going on. it was a little scary. overall, everyone was calm. >> apparently no one was hurt. passengers were put on another train and arrived in new york

overnight. amtrak is investigating. more than 40 people in dallas are without a home for thanksgiving. they are lucky to be alive after the apartment building caught fire. the halls of the building engulfed in flames when a mother and father had to break the window and drop their 1-year-old baby out the window and into the arms of a man below. >> she is only one. to know she still gets to live another day -- words cannot describe. >> the baby is doing well. her dad got 22 snitches. aed to al of -- stitches. a total of three firefighters received burns and all expected to be okay. authorities in new jersey say a family of four found dead at their burned mansion were killed before the home was set on fire. the burned bodies of the homeowner's wife and children

were found inside. >> the police charged his brother for setting his own home on fire 11 miles away. authorities say he torched the house while his wife and two daughters were inside. paul's attorney says he is innocent. authorities say the number of people unaccounted for in the camp fire has fallen to 563. that's a drop of more than 300 from tuesday. on this thanksgiving holiday, a team of nearly 1,000 people will continue searching for people. the camp fire has burned more than 150,000 acres and it is 85% contained whereas 83 people have died. >> butte county will open classes on december 3rd. green bay packers quarterback aaron rodgers will donate $1 million to the camp fire relief
