as for flynn, he was a fixture with trump on the 2016 campaign trail, even leading a "lock her up" hillary clinton chant at the republican national convention. his stint as a national security adviser in the white house was brief. he was fired more than two weeks after then-acting attorney general sally yates told the white house that flynn lied about his communications with the russian ambassador and could be blackmailed by the russians. he will will be sentenced on december 18th in d.c. federal court. back to you. >> thanks, sara. trump lawyer rudolph giuliani is apparently not concerned about michael flynn sharing anything that could implicate the president telling nbc news, quote, they don't have bupkus. he said if flynn had information that could hurt the president, you would know it by now. president trump's ally roger stone invoking his fifth amendment rights, refusing a request from the top democrat on the senate judiciary committee for documents and an interview in the russia investigation. president trump tweeted monday that stone had, quote, guts for

2:38 am
>> is -- >> until next week. yeah. i draw a couple of things out of this. first of all, virtually everybody has pled guilty to some crime or other, all the people you listed. most have cooperated or tried to cooperate. what's a little different about flynn is he has cooperated fully successfully. >> from the beginning. >> from the beginning. and you can see it in the memo. sometimes cooperators are a mixed bag. sometimes they lie once or twice. the memo he put in for papadopoulos was not positive. he asked for some jail time for papadopoulos. we saw he blew up manfort together, he said he lied, we're done with him. and this is all good news for flynn. mueller fully endorses him and says he's been real and good -- real and good for us. >> now if you are trump's attorneys, what do you make of the memo? >> i'd be nervous. rudy's putting on his brave face, and he has to do that. i'd be nervous. look, the fact that flynn did
