Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan testified before a House subcommittee regarding the president's 2020 budget request for the agency. He talked about and answered questions on the department's priorities for the coming year as outlined in President Trump's budget request. Many of the questions focused on the administration's handling of an influx of migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, many of them seeking asylum.
