5:47 pm
>> i feel like i'm going to the prom. i just got panned. thank you all so much. i appreciate it, i'll let you who worked with me and i want to thank kyle and michael again. we had a great campaign, three great candidates. i think it was fantastic and just the kind of thing we need and we appreciate it and looking forward to working with all of you in any way can take and intended to make this a growing and winning party. are you all ready for that? thank you very much. you all take care. [applause] okay, we will now proceed with the nomination of candidates for the office of rnc treasure. the chair reminds the body that
5:48 pm
rule number 5a3 states the aren seashell elected treasurer who is a member or officer of the rnc when elected. two candidates for treasurer have demonstrated the required support for nomination. the order of nomination was decided by a coin toss. the chair recognizes matt the state chairman from kentucky for the purpose of nominating a candidate for rnc treasurer. [applause] [applause]
5:49 pm
>> if we go much longer it's time for bourbon. thank you madam chairwoman. i rise to support and nominate casey crosby is the rnc treasurer. as the chairman of kentucky i've worked personally with casey for the past seven years and i feel i know her well. well we have not always agreed and i mean there were some real drag outs, i can also say once the decision was made she stood by my side and back to that decision. this is what would i have appreciated about casey, her honesty and her frankness and her commitment to being a team player once that decision is made. casey has always been a hard
5:50 pm
worker and a stickler for the rules. she also understands the complexity of politics and realizes we need to find a way to solve problems. in the end she will work extremely hard for the 168 and help the leadership do their duty by not only saving the revenues and expenses. being an active voice in the strategic direction and activities of the rnc. her experience on different rnc committees and involvement in the state campaign certainly positions her for success in this role. as i said nobody knows casey better than i and her hard work and her leadership. we are always excited and i would ask that you all vote for
5:51 pm
casey crosby for rnc treasurer. thank you. [applause] >> the chair now recognizes sean for the purpose of a second. colleagues, good friends and fellow freedom fighters and warriors, we have got so much to do and so little time. i love this crowd. some of you guys kind of got tired of the election but the recount. it was better than any football game i've watched this year. see loss. casey has been one of the great heroes in the rnc and i see her work she ran two years ago. it was tough but she lost that she stayed in the game and supported the team. she understands we need to have a whole new perspective with energy and dynamism that our party desperately needs and she is that person. >> she's that integrity, she's got smarts.
5:52 pm
she is from the grassy grassroots and i have nothing against grassy grassroots. casey is the one we need at this time now. she's a fresh voice and she has experience and done it the hard way. i urge you strongly to consider voting for her as our next treasurer. thank you very much. [applause] jar -- the chair now recognizes recognizes -- sorry i didn't have you on my sheets she's so now i recognize syndicating for the purpose of a second. to second the second for casey crosby for secretary. it's my pleasure. we came on and the committee at the same time but not quite as long as our esteemed former treasurer. >> and you are nominating for
5:53 pm
treasurer, correct? correct can you say you are seconding her for treasurer? >> listen to what i mean. [laughter] i'll stay with my notes. i wholeheartedly second the nomination of casey crosby. casey is served on the rnc for over a decade. we know her she knows us. she loves the rnc. she will protect and safeguard the confidence of our members, our donors, our grassroots republicans. casey is a problem solver. she's a battle tested and she is honest. that is what we need in a treasure and i ask you all to join me in supporting casey. thank you.
5:54 pm
the chair now recognizes janet fogarty for the purpose of nominating a candidate for rnc treasurer. >> thank you madam chairwoman. i would like to nominate joe bruder for the treasury position. i stand -- this ray should be about qualification results. joe is a certified public accountant. he is an auditor for a large nonprofit in florida and the largest private school network in the country. he also has delivered the results as the chairman of the florida republican party and i think florida should be front and center in this next election cycle. i hope you stay with me in voting for joe as their next treasurer. thank you. [applause] the chair now recognizes richard porter for the purpose of a seconding. good afternoon.
5:55 pm
first of all i wanted to come up here so i could feel the power looking out at all of you. smokes do we have good candidates for everyone of these offices. that's a credit for this organization. we have to two super dynamite women who were branding and they saw the cochair race. within this organization there so much talent and i want to acknowledge casey crosby for her great talent and her commitment to our cause. i'm here today to second the nomination for joe gruters. he's an outstanding leader the free state of florida where there so much vitality and energy for our party and so many great leaders, national leaders that he's been working with in that role both with of course former president trump in and the great governor ron desantis and marco rubio. that is a hotspot for us and we
5:56 pm
have taken a leadership role in making things happen in the great state of florida but on top of that he has wonderful qualifications as a cpa and the role he played in the number of organizations which are very similar. the regulated industries where it's essential you get the numbers right and he brings that skill. he's a team player and by the great deal of confidence and with enthusiasm i second the nomination for joe. [applause] the chair now recognizes -- for the purpose of a seconding. thank you very much madam chair. when you follow richard porter what can you do? you can just say i feel the same way richard porter does. what a tremendous group of people we have in these candidates. everyone in this room loves both of these people. casey is absolute the best. she is fantastic. let me tell you why i'm
5:57 pm
seconding the nomination of joe. most of you in this room don't know this about me. in addition to being in the -- business beyond a small property casualty insurance company for 10 years and i know what it's like to work in a highly regulated industry where we are licensed to do business and most of the states. there were state regulations and federal regulations and i think there is probably no substitute for the kind of experience in a job like this if you've worked in a highly regulated industry and know what it's like to have to file all those reports. with all respect to casey i wanted to add my second to the joe gruters nomination and i thank you very much. [applause] the chair now recognizes the next chair of new hampshire for
5:58 pm
the seconding of the nomination. i rise to second the nomination of my good friend joe gruder is a distinguished -- for the office of treasurer of the rnc. i ask you to support joe. he's a highly qualified candidate rolling to make tough decisions and stand bye bye them but i lived in new hampshire but i also have a home in florida. i met joe in the early days of the trump campaign. both joe and i were early supporters of president trump and we would bring yearly get-together whenever i was imported. joe and i both got elected to state chairman three years ago. under joe's leadership the republican party of florida has become one of the best run parties in the country the size new hampshire of course. joe is highly qualified. he's a cpa and he's a state senator and he's the chairman of one of the largest and most successful republican states in the country.
5:59 pm
he is raised, managed and been responsible for over $250 million that was raised over the last four years in florida. and as we all know that has been very well. over the last four years he's turned a 300,000-dollar republican deficit into a 300,000 voter republican advantage. he took a purple state and made it red. who wants -- he wants to bring his talents and disabilities to this committee and i ask you to cast a ballot for joe gruters for treasurer. thank you very much for the names of the following individuals are properly in nomination for treasurer of the republican national committee. casey crosby and joe gruters. we woke conduct about using the same procedures reviews for the previous election and i will now call the role of the states.

6:33 pm
surprise us all, who is this woman that there that we know is incredibly accurate and that she is efficient and she details in every way prayed and she has a demeanor about her, that is you know, it is kind of soft but i don't know what day it was my boy, she sure knock it off and we were like wow she has a sense of humor and she has fun and she knows what she is doing and she has dedicated to what she does. there's no question the vicki is absolutely been a fabulous in effect were the best secretaries that i have seen and you can say all of those names besides and one example that i want to share with you, that i was so impressed with, is that she ended up attending every single subcommittee of those new committees the chairwoman have
6:34 pm
put together, election integrity and grassroots. she was hard attending them my color windy and i say, do you do anything else and she said well right now, it is a little difficult as we are, she went and had her hair done went to a doctor appointments in between 7:00 o'clock and 10:00 o'clock in the morning and you know, so she is so dedicated to this position. and she and i have been friends for 2012 over 25 years and we met at the national federation of republican women and we ended up becoming very good friends there and have continued that friendship throughout the years pretty she is devoted to her family, she has devoted to her friends, she has devoted to the republican party and doing the best that she can't do but most importantly, she has devoted to the lord. she has that love and she is a strong woman in a strong character and i am proud to say
6:35 pm
i am voting i hope you'll join me in voting with incredible for this woman an incredible friend, vicki drummond. [applause] [applause] >> mature now recognizes the next person for the purpose of a second. >> at one great honor and so far i have a three out of three record must just make a four out of four. [laughter] >> you know, nobody is here by accident, the first time that i went to another meeting, i felt a deep sense of relief because i realize that everybody has many back wounds and scars as i did was in the right room with rights people and everybody here has been through betrayals, victories and sadness is, and also some good stuff. sometimes it's hard to maintain your sense of humor and sometimes it takes things deeply and personally and you never forget or forgive and luckily
6:36 pm
have go to bed memory think god for that. but vicki has of the special people that like to have a room that is pleasant and civil and i remember when my second daughter went to venables and i said what he want to go there and she said i might come out a nice christian lady let me tell you, that was one of the biggest surprises i did for my daughter. but there's about being nice and civil and smart that is what civilized behavior should be. and intended to get most of my fun streetfighting sally, have a politician that i have so i need to reach a higher like and that is why limit and i admire my wife because she is the kind of person and vicki is our secretary is so special and so were very fortunate to have earned the skipper happy with a huge monstrous vote of love and appreciation and thank you very much.
6:37 pm
[laughter] [laughter] >> this year now recognizes larry hands for the purpose of nomination for candidate for rnc secretary. >> thank you so much. i'm a national committee woman from north dakota, lori and i think i was chosen by her because i'm one of the handful of members who can actually correctly pronounce national committee woman, from hallways last name with the next - somebody help you out without a name also, i'm very pleased to be here today and this late hour esteemed members in a mentoring in north dakota give me some advice months and she said blessed are the brief and so i will be very concise here and i'm here to concisely nominate my friend doctor kelly board, for the office have suffered secretary of the rnc and kelly herself explained in our
6:38 pm
candidate this week that her goal was to allow for a choice in this race and so we have a choice we should never have an uncontested race. she's a mom and a doctor and offered after great books, and she has someone i really very much admire as a memory come admire kelly her tenacity coming from your communication skills, for her soul and her spine and probably nominate kelly work for secretary of the rnc and thank you. [applause] [applause] >> that you're now recognizes the committee woman from hawaii laura and well we should all save his together. okay great, sorry had to do that thank you and this is a second. >> thank you chair and thank you very much and i want to get this
6:39 pm
right and i am honored to second the nomination of doctor kelly board for rnc secretary. i'm committee woman from hawaii representing hawaii and o'kelly courageous and relentless fight to protect the voting prior in arizona prior to being elected to the rnc and i followed her and i'm sort of inspired by what she was doing out there to be an advocate for our rights to be able to trust in the election process and i was extremely excited to be there. where she fears she has some i was extremely excited to meet you and when i joined it when i was elected as a member of the rnc, we have become very good and close friends. she is somebody that i cherish and she has to hawaii a couple of times before our grassroots header members and leaders and suffice to say that she is a rockstar in hawaii, we just love her to death in the state of hawaii and i don't know if you'll notice lori did mention that a couple of books, one of the books titled inspired what
6:40 pm
right and not a paid endorser of a book but have to say, while i read it myself i was actually really inspired to learn o'kelly had been through and what she while she shared her experience has to be there with her through these different stages of running for office and getting more and more deeply involved in the party. if you're interested it and and politics are remembering why we do what we do, i suggest you pick up this book because it really was felt something i don't often feel when i read books like that it reflects her true heart in her true service to those in the community doesn't eat as well as her deep love for her family and her state or nation heard kelly board is a warm and outgoing tide and interested and genuinely interested and engaged and beautiful example of a red-blooded patriot and willing to put herself aside to advocate for the conservative causes that will hold dear i for one would appreciate her serving unhurt
6:41 pm
the executive committee as rnc secretary to offer her experience in her perspective and her superior ability to genuinely and sincerely engage with others and labor strength will serve as executive committee and all of various subcommittees across our organization very well i would love again knowing we have somebody with her passion and compassion representing and connecting all members across the rnc and thank you. >> •-ellipsis. >> thank you and the names of the following individuals are properly a nomination for secretary of the republican national committee, thank you, kelly ward and we will connect about using the same procedures we use for the previous election i will call the roll of the state, ella and alabama alaska and okay.
