U.S. Military Academy graduate Harry Rothmann talked about his experiences as a West Point cadet, including his plebe year and as an Army athlete. He discussed his Vietnam War service, conducting a rare amphibious operation off the China sea, and an assignment as a Bob Hope escort. This is the first of a two part interview held by The West Point Center for Oral History.
