Content: We all have an empty place that can only be filled properly with God Himself. But that doesn't stop people from filling that empty place with worldly things, and/or evil spirits.
That said, even people who have been converted via Acts 2:38 salvation plan, can subsequently engage in and allow things into our vessel, that are not pleasing to God. Things which can defile our Temple, and the Bible says that if we do that that God will destroy those people. Sobering thought! Put that together with the verse which says NOT to give place to the Devil. . . Saved people can give place to the devil in their Temple, and spiritual life.
He spoke some time on the idea of cleaning the closet, and prayer in the closet, and also the idea that when an evil spirit leaves someone's vessel there is a concept that if that vessel becomes empty - that God's not possessing or doesn't own that vessel anymore. He stressed the idea of being owned and possessed, even filled by God, in order to prevent demon possession, and/or oppression.
