after janet yellen said rate is a possibility, made comments before testifying before congress and she said conditions are pointing to a hike by the feds open market committee. >> what the committee has been expecting that the economy will continue to grow at a pace that's sufficient to generate further improvements in the labor market and to return inflation to our 2% target over the medium terms. >> nicole: these were yellen's public comments. we see jumping guessing that we might have up 56% from 35. >> cheryl: that's affecting markets in asia. we will see the story in u.s. markets. following stocks from you. ceo of exxon mobile painting a bleak picture.
the jobs isn't very encouraging if you look at energy as a proxy as an overall economic. >> it's been a sluggish economy, we've never really found our legs. we have just been kind of sliding along at a very modest economic rate. >> cheryl: europe's economy has been sliding sideways while the rate in china continues to slow. here in the u.s. jobs being cut. 2600 jobs by closing plants in tus and canada. we will get a better idea tomorrow with the release of the october's job report. unemployment rate helding steady at 5.1%. tomorrow you want to tune in with mornings with maria, entire
hour, jobs in america. >> nicole: we are also watching shares of facebook this morning. the stock rallied near 4% in trading after reported better than expected third-quarter earnings despite a jump in cost. revenue 40%. facebook mobile app boosted sales, continue to extend reach with number of monthly users topping one and a half billion as september 30th of 14% from a year ago and that really round out 20% to have globe using facebook at least once a month. >> cheryl: there you go. we are going to be looking at disney today. we are going to get the quarterly numbers of disney after the closing bell, the world largest med accompany, sharply higher from just a year ago, revenue seen rising to 13 and a half billion dollars.
