story saying an iranian drone was spotted 1000 yards from the uss boxer warship in the strait of hormuz, the drone ignored calls to stand down and that is when marines took it down using a new picture coming in, specialized electronic jamming equipment to take the drone down. a pentagon spokesperson says the ship took defensive action to ensure the safety of the ship and crew. the president is calling on the rest of the world to help protect the gulf. >> this is the latest of many provocative and hostile actions by iran against vessels operating in international waters. >> this is refueling tensions after iran shot down a us drone on june 20th claiming it crossed its territory line. the country sunday captured a
foreign tanker from the uae claiming the crew of 12 was smuggling oil. the state department demanding release of that crew. iran must cease this illicit activity, they say, and release the crew and vessel immediately. this is very important because the strait of hormuz is the only see passageway for a good chunk of the world's oil. this will continue on. jillian: thank you for that update. rob: senior strategic analyst general jack keane says he has never seen iran in such a defensive position. jillian: that part of the strategy is working. >> leadership in iran is back for the first time i have ever seen and what we need to do is not overreact, be patient because the strategy we have in place is working and we don't know go up the ladder of escalation with the iranian's in
a way they would love to take us there. we have to be careful what we are doing. our strategy, our defensive strategy is working and don't fall into a provocation trap they are setting for us. rob: iran has shown signs it's willing to negotiate a deal with the us over its ballistic missile program. jillian: another fox news alert. isis is vowing to spread terror in tunisia calling on followers to launch deadly attacks at the peak of tourist seasons in a new propaganda video. this comes week after two suicide bombings rocked tunisia's capital killing an officer in the civilian. in 2015 the militant group was behind two massive attacks in 60 people, one targeting a popular museum. in american citizen suspected of joining isis, and a literally fighting in syria.

jillian: the star-studded remake is expected to be a hit. fox news contributor kevin mccarthy is here with his review. >> good morning. this is a film very anticipated. john favreau is most known for iron man one, iron man 2 in the jungle book live-action remake. the lion king is not a live-action remake. it looks photorealistic, your seeing visuals that look insanely real. the backgrounds look real but in the movie itself, only one real photograph environment. everything is computer-generated effect. the movie is very well done, beautifully cast in regards to the voice acting. timon and pyumba are seen
steelers. it was remade, shot for shot remake of the same scenes you have seen before but the visual updates to be are what made it amazing. the new song called spirit. the film does work in my opinion for the new generation, people who love disney films going back and taking their kids to see this movie. james earl jones returns, so this is the same actor, 88 years old redoing his sequences, if you listen closely in the movie you will actually here, hard to tell but there is one yell they went back and grabbed from the earlier recordings, all the lines are redone and new by james earl jones. simba played by donald glover. amazing job with scar who was
played by jeremy irons in the 90s, and iconic voice. he makes it his own. to me it works is i really enjoyed it. i was hesitant about seeing it because a little concerned why we needed it but it grabbed me. some of the voice acting, really enjoyed the movie, 4 out of 5. jillian: only because of those issues you talked about, you like it and how it compares to the original. >> at the end of the day the original is going to be the original, the classic, one of the best animated movies of all times with their things, some of those scenes felt a little longer and beyoncé did an amazing job singing but didn't think her voice acting dialogue delivery was as strong as anybody else in the film but overall, 4 out of 5, a solid film. rob: everybody this weekend at the movies will want to raise
