"From Out of the City" a metaphysical poem of prophetic visions, read by the author, poet William F. DeVault.
Notes
Despite legends to the contrary, this piece was written three years before the 9/11 tragedy and, according to the poet, is not a prophetic or cautionary work about the rise of Muslim terrorism of the world.
In his words "the madness of martyrs" refers to anyone person or movement that is willing to use violence as a weapon anytime, anywhere.
