lawmakers in iowa want to make sure every driver in the state is insured. the law says if you don't have car insurance, you could face penalties. but some say a lot of people aren't getting that needed coverage. "17:35:45 i think it's a bigger problem then most people realize, nearly one in five on the upper end of our statistics. some believe it might be one in four." iowa state senator jeff danielson says the current law is passive because people don't get caught unless there's a crash or unless someone gets pulled over. he's working on legislation to create an uninsured motorist database that would send out notices to people who aren't following the law, threatening a license revocation. it's an effort to reduce the number of drivers without that insurance coverage. the cedar rapids

"beans are around 12 cents on the week. and wheat up around 27 cents. exports were decent this week. the key here, from here on out, i think through the end of the year is demand. can china stay in buying beans consistently and keep this market propped up over nine dollars or not. and also too with corn, how fast can we go through these piles laying all over the midwest on the ground." "there's not a whole lot of fresh news out there. cash has been done for over a day or so this week, and hopefully can get pushed up into that better level next week. but it's the end of the month, last day of the week, so just kind of seeing some long liquidation here right now in the cattle trade."
