kes office in january. reporting on capitol hill i'm kellie meyer. linn county voters decided to cut the size of the board of supervisors. the board held its regular meeting today in cedar rapids. in 2006, linn county voters expanded the board from three to five members. but they approved a ballot measure yesterday cut the board back down to three. kevin kula who started circulating a petition for the change a year ago said fewer supervisors affect people living in rural areas. "the reason we went to 5 supervisors was to increase and improve rural representation on the board of supervisors. um, i'm not sure i can see a way to split the county into thirds. an accident involving a combine today. it happened late this morning near mechanicsvill e, close to the intersection of franklin avenue and highway 30. the cedar county sheriff's office says the man is now at university of iowa hospitals. we don't know his condition. the iowa national guard today gave a flight demonstration of its latest tool. a radio controlled drone. the drone was shown off today at the boone municipal airport. once controlled by radio frequencies through ground control stations. the iowa air national guard says this drone will provide real time reconnaissance, help with communications and help find targets. the guard also flies a larger drone very similar to this version. a small business in dubuque is enjoying a lot of success dealing with java. we take you inside verena street coffee to see how it's grown in just a few years.

a dubuque coffee company says demand is helping it expand the business. this week verena street coffee is moving into a

park. owners of verena street coffee roast and package several flavored coffees. the company started in 2010 in a small production house with just three employees. it's now going into this 34- thousand square foot facility with 15 people working there. "we've come along way every year we get more and more exposure. but there's just a ton of coffee business out there and we've barely scratched the surface so far. " the shelves of about 800 stores across the country. the iowa department of transportation opened a new park and ride location in cedar rapids. the lot is located near kirkwood boulevard and 66th avenue southwest. that's near kirkwood community college and also sits along a cedar rapids bus route. drivers will find a sheltered bus stop and lighting. it's free for anyone to use. people can use the lots to park their cars and join a car pool or hop on the
