notices to evict. they did again today late today this afternoon. notices were distributed by uniformed police and this time, that is a change from fire notices -- prior notices when the city posted them around the camp. and the campers did not appreciate the police presence but the affect appears to be the same as notices had in the past that. is protestors plan to ilg nor them. >> this f.they want to take badges off and put gun as way and talk to us like human beings that is fine. but with badges and sticks and energy of you're going to listen to me because i can kick you no thank you that is not what this is about. >> and the city is not legally required to post notices and campers think of this as an illegal encampment. and the mayor is praying for a

peaceful resolution to this situation. >> one day after a young man was gunned down the mayor called for peace with release of a dove. she repeated her plea distributing flyers asking hundreds to leave frank ogowa plaza. >> it's another example of why we need to close the encampment at city hall. and we're asking everyone at the plaza to leave the plaza we're going give another official notice today. >> the man killed thursday identified as alex was just steps from the test in an area where several young men had been fighting. oakland police officer association says last night's murder was related to the camp. >> i don't see too many broad daylight murders in downtown oakland.

disabled. and they purchased a long term care policy in 1996 expensive up to $534 per month. and now beverly figured it would pay off. however, she filed a claim for home nurseing and found benefits did not come easy. >> they kept writing me and telling me no. we can't pay that much. >> the company declined to pay full benefits. 7 on your side contacted her carrier senior health insurance of pennsylvania. the company reviewed the claim and in the end did pay her an additional $4092 in benefits. she was relieved but months later found herself fighting the company again. >> they took their sweet time trying to put obstacles in the path. >> jack wound up in a nursing home beverly received a bill and filed another claim. >> they sent me papers claim forms. i filled them out. >> and the company said it

wasn't enough information. the nursing home did provide more data but the shin sureance company said still, not enough. >> said it's six pages. they want 35 pages. >> she says she and the nursing home never received a clear idea of what information the company wanted. and just a letter saying time was running out. >> we can't hold this claim forever. so the deadline is october 28th. >> the letter said without extra data we'll be unable to pay your claim. one day before the deadline beverly contacted 7 on your side again. and again we contacted the company and soon beverly got the good news. >> the senior health care called and sid we received all of the information. in one day. >> they agreed to process the claim and sent her this check for $7,000. the company saying the requested information was finally received on october 27th 2011 and never denied
