traffic right now and at top speeds. >> if you of driving through sonoma county on 101 you could find yourself in gambling gridlock. amy hollyfield is at the graton casino opening this morning. >> they worried. look at huge casino behind me. they are worried about the traffic it will create. this is the largest casino in california: 340,000 square feet. the grave -- gray extra cars a day trying to get to the casino. the chop says they will be sitting this different locations

not add up and no one has found the witness and doesn't think he actually exists. >> for the first time, the prosecution is revealing a possible motive in the murder of an oakland federal investigator. the body of sandra coke was found in a park inage. -- in a park in august. during a hearing, a man was upset about going back to jail for parole violation and miss his mother's funeral. the parole violation was triggered by the search for coke's missing dog. the two everyone once involved. >> one of california's largest hospital chains settled a lawsuit over billing of services agreeing to pay $46 million and disclose more pricing information to consumers. the settlement is a result of a whistleblower campaign over false and misleading charges. federal officials and consumer advocates have been putting pressure on hospitals to explain their high prices.

hours from tracy to dublin because of a sig-alert. two lanes remain blocked with an injury accident. a big rig blocked the traffic so more cars would not run into them. westbound 80 at central avenue we have another accident with one lane blocked and one car is facing the wrong direction blocking the lanes. so far we do not have delays. at emeryville and toward the toll you can see the traffic is moving smoothly. you can see how traffic is light toward treasure island into san francisco and eastbound, you can see construction, and that will last until 2:00 this afternoon. >> moving on to breaking news from new jersey, terror at the large of the shopping mall with shots fired and then an all-night search for a gunman.
we go to our reporter who is in paramus, new jersey. matt? >> good morning, eric. police found the body of 20-year-old richard shoop in the upscale mall behind me with a self inflicted gunshot wound. police say he was the shooter last night and terrorized the mall. a note he left his parents is shedding light on why he did what he did. >> after firing at least six shots in a crowded new jersey mall the gun map, richard shoop, turned his weapon himself and his body was found in a back room where they found a suicide note. >> other than taking his own life with the when he used to do the firing inside the mall, mr. shoop does not appear to have injured anyone. >> shoppe dressed in black and was wearing body army and a motorcycle helmet fired several shots near the nordstrom
department store but did not hit anyone. investigators believe it wasn't his intention to hurt shoppers. >> we ran for our safety. we then ran to the nearest exit. >> police are hoping one of the high-tech cameras will provide clues for the investigation. >> there are over two million square feet of mall and we will comb through every inch. >> there was a massive response from law enforcement on the ground and in the air. teams joined by state and local police swarmed the mall. they evacuated the shoppers to safety. >> we are still doing a secondary search on the stores and we need to go store by store to get the people out and let them know everything is safe. >> the malls close as police comb through the 2.5 million

the gunnen ma. katie marzullo has the latest. >> they found the gunman dead. he killed himself and they believe that is the motive, suicide. he had ample opportunity to shoot people and he did not. police identified the man with the gun at 20-year-old richard shoop. this is from a modeling website. he lived with his parents in new jersey. the gun was stolen from his from, a legal .22 caliber rifle that was altered to look like an ak-47. police found him dead after midnight in the back area of the mall in an area under construction. they say he entered the mall at closing time and started shooting. he was wearing all black and a motorcycle helmet. thousands of people were able to get out before police locked down the mall but that left 400 shoppers and employees huddled inside while the officers searched for the gunman.
the the witnesses locked the store and lid until the coast was clear. shoop shot at the ceiling and an elevator. in the note, shoop expressed the end was coming but it is fought clear if that pent he feared being arrested or if he wanted to die. authorities say he was a none drug user and drug dealer. authorities are stopping short of calling it a suicide note because he did not write it before going into the mall. >> thank you. when voters go to the polls they will decide on a strict new gun law that has the attention of gun control forces and the n.r.a. and matt keller is in sunnyvale to explain. matt? >> the gun control topic certainly stirs up passionate
debate. will we see precincts like the one here filled with voters when the polls open at 7:00 this morning? here is what the voteers will decide this morning. you have to report thefts of firearms in 48 hours and gun dealers is to keep reports of all ammunition sales and more than ten rounds is illegal. the mayor was inspired to put forward the measure by mayors against illegal guns because nothing was done in congress or at the state level. mayor bloomberg contributed $3,000. opponents of the firearms company in sunnyvale says this is poorly trusted measure and an attack on legitimate gun severals and will only drive businesses to surrounding cities. if measure c does pass, the national rifle association promises a lawsuit to stop it from being implemented.

pigs inside city limits. currently the law bans shooting inside the san jose borders except by police or firing ranges. right new the bigs have to be take were outside the city to be killed. >> the san francisco board of supervisors will vote on legislation to make it tougher for medical marijuana dispensaries to open. the "san francisco examiner" reports that supervisors says three dispensaries have opened up on mission street south of alameda boulevard saying it is unfair to have high concentrations of this through the neighborhood and he will make the approval process tougher.

spot, and bodega bay is 63 with low 70's cross most of the east bay shore and hercules is the warm spot at 73 and the east bay valleys, walnut creek and fairfield and livermore the warmest at 74 degrees. temperatures are more realistic tonight and we will hang out in the 40's and into around oakland, richmond and san francisco. 54 degrees tomorrow and chance of rain on veterans day, monday. >> speaking of walnut creek i will have that in a little bit with self problems across our roads and this accident involving a vehicle northbound 880 at coliseum way and then near that accident is another accident. heavy traffic is building but not as bad as it could be of the one lane is blocked. traffic is able to pass decently.
however, westbound along 80 at central avenue to the hoffman split to albany we have another accident. look at the backup, we are looking at heave bumper-to-bumper traffic away from san pablo road. we have this problem, we know that a thousand used needles were spilled at the intersection of santa rita road and apian way so watch out. 680 is. extraing smoothly and nine minutes to get you to highway 24. >> the senate will begin debate on the first major bill barring workplace discrimination against gays in two decades. gays, lesbians and transgender workers still face discrimination on the job. opponents say this opens small businesses to frivolous lawsuits. if the bill passes the prospects are uncertain. >> president obama is meeting with business leaders this morning to keep pressure on the house of representatives to pass an immigration reform bill.
