>> abc7 news reporter has breaking news. >> in maryland a vehicle has rammed a television station. there could be an armed person inside the building. in a series of tweets, the vehicle was identified as a stolen landscaping truck. the station is located north of baltimore. a hole the size of a large garage door is in front of the building.

has a look at how warm it is with important watches. good morning from the top of the broadcast center where you can feel the heat on the bottom of my legs as also sun is warming us up, ten degrees warmer than 24 hours ago and here is what is happening. temperatures are running in the 70's to low 80's but for los gatos already 87. 80 in concord. 82 in san ramon. 82 in livermore and san jose. san mateo, look at all the areas that are already warmer than our average highs for today. can you see san jose is leading the charge. nine degrees warmer than 24 hours ago. here is the latest on the heat. it takes effect at 1:00 o'clock so the most dangerous heat is going to hang around or begin at 1:00 o'clock and hang around overnight and last through at least 8:00 tomorrow evening. the potential for a light sea breeze will develop. everywhere but beside the coast is where we have the dangerous

in fact, sad circumstances have come to light as a result of her brief disappearance. amy hollyfield is in oakland with the story. amy? kristen, police say she has been found but she is not going home. seven-year-old kyianna orear's mother told police that her daughter had been kidnapped from her oakland home on 73rd avenue in east oakland launching an intense police search and investigation. this morning, she still believes kyianna orear was kidnapped. >> someone cut the gate and took my child. >> it turns out kyianna orear was safe. she wandered into the east oakland deliverance center and cared for by this couple who was there for a prayer service. but no one told police. >> she said she was host. >> she didn't ask you to take her to her mother? >> she didn't know where she lived. she was lost. the couple kept kyianna

orear overnight and this morning they were getting ready to take her to her school and they saw her picture on the news and drove to the police station instead. it is a good feeling, and the detectives were so excited when we drove up with her. we were so happy to see her on the news. >> she is in good shape. there is a lot of work on the case. >> police know they do not want her running home. >> will show be reunited? >> not very soon if we can help that. >> they will not call or respond. they haven't told me nothing. i just heard it from over the internet and everyone say they found her but the police won't tell me nothing. >> officers are looking into reports that kyianna orear's mother sent her out to get some drugs and the mother said she fell asleep and she woke up and kyianna orear was gone. officers and kyianna orear's mother want to know why police weren't called last night when

she was found. rather than keeping her overnight, she should have called the police. >> why didn't you call police? >> i don't have any comments. police have a lot of questions for the seven-year-old girl but want her comfortable and settled before they question her. happening now, a memorial is getting underway for half moon bay student pilot killed in an air force crash when flying upside down when the 1944 biplane hit the ground and then burst into planes over a week ago. he passed the skills test in the days before the crash and was determined "fit" to perform such stunts. the memorial is taking place in half moon bay. >> c.h.p. has good news for

>> covering daly city, dublin, los gatos and all the bay area, this is abc7 news. organizers hope bay area residents will turnout to try to save the life of a seven-year-old boy who is battling leukemia. the boy needs a biracial bone marrow donor. his parents are japanese and german. a nationwide search for the match has come up empty. marrow drives were held over the weekend in albany and walnut creek and another is held tomorrow from noon to 2:00 at the uc berkeley shared services building on 4th street. joining the registry is easy and painless. all you have to do is have your cheek swabbed. >> it is time to check with meteorologist mike nicco and talk how long the heat wave could last. mike? >> good morning, everyone, the longer it lasts the more money you are paying and the hot other your house will be and the worst it will be sleeping at night without air conditioning.
