>> the protest was mobile and ended with businesses being vandalized, a paint store had wants busted up and people stole paint and spilled it. look on the street: it is everywhere. you can smell it and see it on the street on tires moving through. paint is everywhere. quite a miss at telegraph and 42nd. protests also extended interest emeryville and the vandals are not just focused on businesses. we saw them going into people's garages and stealing. hundreds of police officers were out last night, some officers from as far away as livermore some protesters refused to disperse and others said they didn't know what to do, it was confusing. >> there was a line of liver --

police there but they cannot dispersed because they have tripped up. >> here is video of looting on telegraph including the paint store and a walgreens. there were several arrests, dozens of arrests and police have reported arrests. the official count will not be until later today. the arrests shut everything down. that happened at 1:00 o'clock this morning. >> protesters again shut down freeways in oakland. last night police tried to gather dozens of demonstrators blocking interstate 580 frustrating drivers for a second night and rushed an intersection of telegraph at i-580 and stormed the hill making it to the east bound lane stopping traffic. they moved into the westbound lanes until 100 officers

arrested the protesters. a few hundred rushed a ramp in the middle of rush hour traffic on 980 and shut down eastbound lane for an hour and a half. >> the police officer who shot michael brown breaks his silence, exclusively to abc news but it did not calm the protesters in missouri and across the nation. some peaceful. others, not. we are in ferguson with the latest developments. good morning, it was relatively calm overnight compared to the rest night. there was a significant stepped up effort of law enforcement. on monday we had 700 national guard trips in ferguson. last note there were 2,200. law enforcement officials say that might have helped prevent an escalation of violence. demonstrators gathered at ferguson police department

agents are recovering from gunshot wounds shot at 1:00 o'clock a.m. our time at a house in st. louis county five miles south of ferguson. the agents were executing an arrest warrant and they were shot. one agent was hit in the shoulder. the other in the leg. their injuries are not considered life threatening. the fbi replace add statement saying that the shooting is not related to the protests in ferguson. >> other big story this morning happening now, holiday travel ahead of thanksgiving is in full swing. flight schedules across the nation have taken a big hit. according to flight aware, airlines have scrapped 210 flights. the busiest air travel days of the year, blamed on a nasty winter storm mostly at two airports, new york la guardia and newark liberty. >> today is a get away for many families going away for the holiday weekend with traveler hitting the roads before tonight

at 8:00 p.m. closing three lanes of the upper deck of the bay bridge from yerba buena island tunnel to the fremont street exit part of ongoing work by crews to replace old deteriorated expansion joints some almost 80 years old. repair work is expected to take 10-12 weeks. >> a man is scheduled to enter a three in the hit-and-run death of a 14-year-old boy. ivan cruz was riding his scooter when he was hit and killed. the freeway man died instantly. police were chasing a 34-year-old sunny anderson when he hit cruz in the crosswalk of the intersection. anderson and a convicted felon with a long rap street date back to 1989 and faces life in prison if convicted of murder in the death. santa clara will set aside $2 million for activities represented to the 2016 super

mid-to-upper 60's at the coast and upper 60 to low 70's through most of our neighbors. the "spare the air" day and tonight we have temperatures in the low-to-mid 50's around oakland and richmond and san rafael and san francisco and san mateo and half moon bay and santa cruz is 50 and the rest of us in the mid-to-upper 40's and high clouds will not allow our temperatures to drop so much as they have the last couple of days. high pressure is sitting on top of us last night all the way through today. the high clouds will rollover the top of this area of high pressure but it will keep us dry all the way through tomorrow. we are going to see the storms line up and they are going to pack a punch. when i come in the morning and check the model we get more rain. that is good. it is coming in a small timeframe at 5:00 friday p.m. sprinkles in the north bay. overnight it was supposed to

stop, and our first storm friday night into sunday and a lull on sunday but it does not mean it will be dry but not so heavy and the heaviest rain is monday and tuesday and by tuesday evening it is out of here. the rain tolls are jumping you. yesterday we had dark green and that was 3". new we have yellows and oranges so that is 3-5" in the weather spots in the north bay and 1-3" by tuesday. seven-day forecast shows it will be cool and breezy with the rain. upper 50's at the coast. low-to-mid 60's for the rest of us saturday through tuesday. a look at walnut creek southbound 680 the drive is quiet and no accidents. one accident was reported in oakland closer to russian tremendous, eastbound 580 and we have a minivan sideways in lane and a lane blocked.

employees to pay double pay so stores can cash if on holiday shopping while rewarding employee whose cannot spend their day with the loved ones. double pay is already standard practice at some retailers. san francisco supervisors have give final approval to require employers to make worker as minimum of four hours if they on call or canceled with less than 24 hours notice applying mostly to restaurant and retail workers. companies have to offer more hours to current employees before hiring new workers. today, the epa will propose tight are new guidelines for ozone in the area which is a pollution that caused difficulty breathing and especially tough on people with lung disease like asthma and copd. states are allowed to have 70 parts per billion in the air but the new proposal is 65 parts per
