>> dave and denise, we're ten days in to early voting, about 340 thousand people have already voted in nevada. we do not know who voters cast their ballots for, but based on voters' registrations, here is what we do know ... the numbers bring good news for democratic nominee hillary clinton.

((dave courvoisier)) so far they've collected more than 6-hundred signatures. the governing board is meeting tomorrow at 5-30 at the school's cafeteria... followed by a parent town hall thursday at the same location starting at 6 p-m./// ((denise valdez)) we are seeing a spike in the number of homicides in metro's jurisdiction this year. so far--there's been 145 murders... which is a jump from 2015's total of 136 homici robert abner was killed sunday at a halloween party. reporter brittany edney has been following this story since it happened. brittany, what's the latest on the case? ((brittany edney)) >> denise... metro says they've seen an overall increase in homicides this year of about 24-percent. and while the department says they're looking at the best way to allocate resources to decrease that statistic.... robert abner's family is looking for closure.

information about the shooter to come forward. and that can be done anonymously through crimestoppers as well. we'll send it back to you./// ((dave courvoisier)) police need your help tracking down a robbery suspect. take a look a these pictures. the robbery happened on saturday at a convenience store near flamingo and el capitan way. police say the suspect implied that he was armed, demanded money, then took off with the cash on foot. he was last scene wearing a red plaid shirt and blue jeans. if you have any information on this please call crimestops ((denise valdez)) at least six people have died after a school bus crashed into a commuter bus in maryland. no children were on board the school bus that collided with a "maryland transit administration" public bus in southwest baltimore earlier today. investigators say the bus hit the rear of a mustang, then it hit a concrete pillar then veered into oncoming traffic -- and into the path of the m-t-a bus. the impact obliterated the buses.. sheering off the sides -- crumpling the front ends -- and

((shawn braxton/victim "physically, i'm bruised, banged up. mentally, it's going to take a while to get myself get myself together again." )) ((denise valdez)) investigators admit it will take several resources to figure out exactly what happened. the medical examiner is also investigating whether the 67-year-old driver of the school bus may have suffered from a medical condition./// ((dave courvoisier)) bill cosby was back in court today as his lawyers and prc evidence should be allowed at his upcoming sexual assault trial. during the hearing, cosby's lawyers tried to suppress the recently unsealed deposition cosby gave in 2005 during a civil lawsuit. under oath, cosby has admitted to drugging a former temple university employee before a sexual encounter with her. the woman said it wasn't consensual - cosby says it was. prosecutors also want jurors hear from 13 of those other accusers to establish a pattern of behavior. the las vegas strip tonight... all in celebration of dia de los muertos. the park entertainment district came alive with music, dancing, and art installations called guerilla kages. the portable art show featured 45 canvases where local artists competed to create pieces with traditional themes such as skulls and calacas. and this isn't the only chance you have to come party at the park. mel larson, a co-founder of las vegas motor speedway and one of the pioneers of the city's rise to international acclaim, died tuesday. larson assisted the late ralph engelstad and bill bennett, along with richie clyne, to spearhead the construction of lvms in the mid-10 paved the way for the new speedway to land its first nascar premier series event in 1998. he was 87.
