an iowa man is in police custody - wanted for questioning in the shooting deaths of two officers overnight. "he flagged down an employee of the dnr, presented his id to that employee and asked that that employee call 9-1-1." greene was wanted for killing two police officers - the first, just after 1 a-m in greene's hometown of urbandale. the second, 20 minutes later and two miles away, in des moines. police say they were ambushed. "there definitely was no opportunity for the sef to defend themselves or respond to the attack. both officers were seated in their cars, and were shot while they were sitting." the officers were identified as des moines sergeant anthony beminio, and urbandale officer justin martin. trick-or-treating. so when one boy missed his chance to dress up and go door-to-door -- someone made sure he still got his treats -- without any tricks. chuck roberts has the story. like a lot of four year olds -- evan taggard likes candy -- and football. this halloween he planned on dressing like his favorite player -jeremy sprinkle - and tackling the neighborhood to score as many treats as possible.
