i was having a good time. i was just fooling around on the craps table and all of a sudden the lights went out. )) wayne kropp was on the casino floor when the bright lights... went black. his former aide, david wildstein eventually admitted to organizing the lane closures in fort lee, nj to punish that city's democratic mayor for not endorsing christie when he ran for re-election. governor christie said he knew nothing about the scheme by his former aides. in a statement after the verdicts, christie said, let me be clear once again, i had no knowledge prior to or during these lane realignments, and had no role in authorizing them. in some cases, amputation is used to treat certain cancers that develop in a person's limb, like advanced melanomas and sarcoma or bone cancer. but a therapy that was first developed decades ago is now gaining ground with doctors who are trying to save lives and limbs. martie salt reports.

the toughest time outs of his life. cancer was eating away at his right arm. mike hladky / basketball coach "there's a malignant tumor wrapped around my nerves tendons and muscles from wrist to the center of my forearm here and it's inoperable." he was days away from amputation. but then he met doctor jonathan zager. doctor zager offered another way, something called isolated limb infusion. mike hladky: "to keep my arm, i said you bet." doctors target the tumor by delivering as much as ten times the normal amount of chemotherapy. first, they isolate e jonathan zager, md / surgical oncologist "we put a tourniquet above those catheters and this way we can profuse the arm with high-dose heated chemotherapy and the tourniquet prevents the chemotherapy from getting to any other place in the body." doctor zager says there's a 30 to 40 percent chance the tumor will respond to the treatment. jonathan zager, md "so i've done it three maybe even four times in the same patient. we usually space it out at least three to four months and we'll only repeat it
