members of the gang unit responded...but it's too early to tell if this is gang related. police are not naming any possible suspects at this time. sad news from south lake tahoe. a wisconsin woman died while skiing at heavenly resort. according to the nevada appeal... 77 year old kathryn strangman hit a tree on tuesday. emergency crews weren't able to save her. her death is under investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled. we're getting a look at new images of a woman who's body was found in a shallow grave on lone mountain and roop street in carson city last march. the carson city sheriff's office still doesn't know the woman's name. they developed these renderings to show what she may have looked like. they believe she had reddish or blond hair, and was between 4- foot-6 and 5-3. she's believed to be between the ages of 42 and 71. detectives believe she may have been buried anywhere between one month and a year. if you recognize this woman ... you're urged to call the carson city

some new developments in a murder case in south lake tahoe. police have arrested two men in connection with a deadly shooting at the beverly lodge last month. 18-year-old tristan batten and 20-year-old harvest davidson are charged with one count of murder in the death of dennis wright. police say more arrests are expected and that the remaining suspects are considered armed and dangerous. ### a new tral is underway for the nevada man accused of killing his girlfriend's 2-year old son nearly 6 years ago. cody wallace appeared in a lyon county courtroom yesterday. it was november 23rd, 2010-- when wallace called 9-1-1 saying thomas o'connell the fourth had stopped breathing. the boy later died of blunt force trauma. but according to court documents-- wallace consistently denies hurting the child. several mistakes made in the courtroom--- including the late disclosure of material to the jury-- led to several delays. in new testimony from a witness...she describes her conversation with

donald trump will be at the nugget casino resort at noon on tuesday. doors open at 10 a.m. the event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged. a federal grand jury has indicted nevada rancher cliven bundy. the felony charges are connected to the standoff with authorities at his nevada ranch in 20-14. bundy was arrested in oregon, where his sons ryan and ammon bundy were involved in the occupation of an oregon wildlife refuge. both sons -- along with two other men -- were indicted with bundy yesterday. the sixteen counts carry prison terms fines. most serious among them are assault on a federal law enforcement officer, and extortion. cliven bundy could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted. michigan's governor and the mayor of flint say they have plans to deal with the lead pipes in flint -- but their plans are different. flint mayor karen weaver wants the pipes removed right away. she announced training on removing them would begin next week. snyder wants to coat

protective film instead of removing them, but hasn't given a time frame for his plan. weaver says she is moving forward with her plan to remove the lead pipes. federal regulators say a corroded pipe is what caused the oil spill on the santa barbara coast in cailfornia last may. the pipeline and hazardous materials safety administration says the spill occured in a 2-foot section of the pipe after pressure increased in the pipe when a pump was restarted. more than 140-thousand gallons of crude oil spilled into the ocean. a medical hospital in los angeles paid a 17- thousand dollar ransom after hackers disabled their computer network. hollywood presbyterian medical center says the hackers demanded the ransom of 40-bitcoins -- a nearly untraceable form of digital payment. the hospital first noticed something was wrong on february 4th. thats when they put up signs warning their employees not to use the computers. now the question is -- did the hospital do the right thing in paying off
