a bleed weekend in the east bay. three women are among the dead in half a dozen shootings in just two days. it is a drastic move to keep airline passengers safe. what has been given the go ahead to prevent a disaster. good evening. we begin with breaking news. a plane crashed at the cal state north ridge campus. you can see the 6-seater cessna landed upside down. it was flying to john wayne airport and trying to make an emergency landing on the street. it clipped a fence and flipped. a man and woman were on the plane and they only had minor injuries. not fit to preach. that is what the church is saying about the new pastor assigned to the church. the parishioners objections have nothing to do with

year. the latest victim was found shot to death at 6:00 this morning. the police say they have little inforringmation on that double homicide and no suspects. there were two other killings on saturday. one was an 18-year-old women and the other a 19-year-old man. and there were six nonfatal shootings since friday. no arrests have been made in any of these cases. a neighborhood sees the second shooting in as many weeks. the police were called to ivy drive this morning after two men got out of a car and fired a dozen rounds into a house. nobody was injured. this comes after a man was killed during a robbery on the same street a week ago. melo park shooting they were in a car when a suspect approached them. one man was shot and the woman's purse was taken.

san jose needs your help in selecting the new mess chief. the current chief plans to retire at the end of january. while a search for a successor is underway, they want the public's opinion. the first public meeting is tomorrow night at 6:30 at the community center. well, birds are a big problem for passenger jets departing san jose. so, the officials are coming out firing. bird strikes, like this one in new york, are dangerous and they are expensive. san jose leaders are proposing letting authorized personnel legally shoot at birds to cheer them from the airfield. they will be firing blanks but can use a bird shot if they do not leave. they have had 138 bird strikes since 2009. for those who avoided the black friday crowds tomorrow is cybermonday. expected to be the biggest online shopping day of the year for the third year in a row.
