>> reporter: cbs news, los angeles. ahead on this morning o, wel speak to michael morell about the worldwide cyberattack. and following the firing of james koecomey, there could be major reboot at the white house. president trump is reportedly considering a massive staff shakeup according to multiple reports. the online media outlet reports the president is considering replacing press secretary sean spicer, chief of staff reince priebus and chief strategist steve bannon. a "wall street journal" nbc news poll finds 29% of those asked approve of the comey firing, while 38% deposisapprove. hannah davis is here with the latest on finding his succession sore. >> the hunt continues this

recused himself from the russian probe being involved in the process. >> i don't believe he should be part of this review process. >> reporter: the president has admitted he had russia on his mind when he terminated comey. on friday, he warned comey against leaking any negative information in a tweet. >> if there are tapes, the president should turn them over immediately of course to destroy them would be a violation of law. >> reporter: republican senator lindsey graham had this advice for president trump. >> i would advise the president trump not to tweet or comment about the investigation as we go forward. >> reporter: lawmakers from both parties are urging the president to steer clear of picking any politicians for comey's replacement. any nominee must be confirmed by the senate. meanwhile president trump holds a meeting at the white house today with the crown prince of abu dhabi ahead of his first overseas trip as commander in

chief. >> hannah, thank you. this morning north korea claimed the missile it launched yesterday is a newly developed ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. this is just released video the north says is sunday's launch. u.n. surt down on stiecurity co expected to hold an emergency session tomorrow. >> reporter: according to u.s. intelligence, the medium range miss sl kn 17 was launched near north korea's west coast. japan's military says it reached an altitude of more than 1200 miles before splashing down into the sea. it landed about 60 miles off the coast of russia. it was the first successful test after a string of recent failures. the regime continues to test banned ballistic missiles despite worldwide condemnation. but the u.s. military says the flight pattern of the launch was not consistent with the

week. lyft is teaming up with waymo to produce a self-driving car. waymo is a spinoff from google's self-driving car division. waymo is suing saying they stole self driving technology. and guardians of the galaxy volume 2 topped the box office second week out. it's the only film currently out that keeps drawing mass audiences. snatched was second followed by first major box office flop of the summer king arthur, legend of the sword, it cost $175 million to make, and it brought in an estimated $14.7 million in ticket sales. >> wow, they better pay for a few more rainy weekends. it was a good weekend in the northeast to watch movies.

as harvesting season gets under way, many farmers say they are facing a labor shortage, that could translate into higher prices for us all. chris martinez reports. >> reporter: for more than 120 years, every last lemon from these orchards has been picked by hand. >> they are looking for the right size and right grade. >> reporter: but the ceo harold edwards says he now has fewer workers than ever, especially fewer migrant workers. >> with a lot of the rhetoric going on about building the wall, is it a lot of those laborers who felt comfortable coming before now just don't feel comfortable, so they are not coming. >> reporter: the lack of labor began with the tightening of the u.s./mexican border, but many

farmers say the trump administration's crackdown has made it worse. a typical sized work crew used to be nearly 30 people. >> now crews are 18. >> reporter: john crist with the farm bureau says other factors are adding to that critical shortage, including many u.s. farmers moving their operations to mexico. >> they take advantage of less expensive labor, fewer environmental regulations, cheaper land. >> reporter: that has left farmers having to increase incentives to lure in labor like better wages and benbenefits. some even importing workers under special visas. on site lodging for crews and families is helping to sweeten the working environment here. >> there is nothing worse than losing your crop because you can't get it off the trees. >> reporter: and keep more my or

>> i would say we are taking a big pause because that was an exhausting game. i was in the airplane watching it and that's not a good way to watch it. i had the whole plane watching the game after a couple of outbursts. we thought we were in disguise. >> air turbulence there. did you have a happy mother's day? >> yes. the kids made breakfast and so it was nice. and i got to do whatever i wanted which was shopping. >> i've got a graduate. >> he's off the payroll now. >> he's exhausted. he's going to sleep for about a week now. it's hard when you see what school does to those kids the last week before graduation. he didn't sleep for 72 hours because they threw a project on him in which he had to develop a show, a program that was going to air on local television for 22 minutes. 22 minute program he had to put
