antonio brown says he is out of the nfl. the stunning announcement from the former raider accused of sexual assault. the president has a response to the threats that could overthrow his un meeting. good morning. it is 5 am right now as we check our forecast. we have that cool down from last week and we heating up again this week? >> that is right. we are looking at warmer temperatures for the day and heating up for tuesday and wednesday with an offshore flow kicking in for us. which means high fire danger. we will gets than just a moment. but we start off the day with low clouds and areas of fog. plenty of sun coming through the afternoon. 91 in concord and fairfield. looking at 87 in livermore and mid 80s in san jose. mid 70s in san francisco and

along the coast in the low 70s. let's talk about your high fire danger. red flag warning will be in effect from 9:00 until 5 am. those for the northbay hills in the east bay hills as well as the diablo range. we will talk more about this extreme fire weather that we are expecting for the next couple of days coming up. let's check in with gianna for look at the traffic and south bay. >> this is just off of the 101 southbound in the lorne expressway. unfortunately this is a fatal crash that happened through here. still a lot coming off the offramp. completely shut down for the investigation. if you're trying to exit south 101 you can look at a here. it is not affecting the main lines of 101. i did just check in with chp and they are issuing a fog advisory for the north and off the gulf gate bridge.

here's a live look of that off the robin williams tunnel. vity heading into the ed golden gate bridge itself. still pretty quiet out this morning. the traffic is backed up pretty early as you work your way into san francisco. in a matter of hours, hundreds of people in the northbay communities will be without power. pg&e is warning that it is about high fire danger. we have more on who this fire can impact. >> morning kenny. pg and he says the power shut off could potentially starts tonight and may last a few days. they say this would affect those living in nine northbay counties. that includes hundred 24 customers and counties like sonoma butte and plaster.

they are monitoring the weather and fire conditions extra closely in case they need to preemptively turn the fire -- power off. if a fire were to start it would likely spread quickly. they are still traumatized by the wine country wildfires are up to their communities two years ago. >> a lot of people have mixed feelings about the three-day window. it is a three-day window. >> i think the new power lines underground will keep the fires from happening. i don't think shutting power off to all the people with roaming blackouts is the way to go. >> with multiple lawsuits now the utility says turning off power has turned into the new normal to prevent another catastrophe. they say the shut off for her business and i don't see what is going on right now. and the diablo range through wednesday as well. kpix five.

off to the fire watch this morning. the reservoir fire burning on calaveras road is now 70% contained. the fire has been burning since saturday afternoon. it is now holding steady at just under 130 acres. rolling debris and steep slopes have hindered their efforts to knock out the fire sooner. it is expected to be shut down to this afternoon. we are at the live news desk and right now hundreds of thousands of travelers across the globe are stranded. a burnished tour company folded overnight called thomas cook. it is a 200-year-old company. customers are out of luck all of the world. this is video from north spain as the british government is trying to bring people home. they're trying to put your prioritize passengers with the biggest needs. with people traveling by train, by air and the company now having to negotiate with several

different companies and options in order to get people where they need to be. also 21,000 employees that worked for this company. this was a surprise to a lot of people. is 5:05 am and the chp is investigating a deadly crash that happened in rural santa clara county. several people were hurt when a tractor trailer and three other cars collided. this was just after 8:30 pm on highway 152. four miles east of gill worry. they are close in both directions and have since reopened. a couple is accused of stealing a truck at gunpoint. police say they also left another stolen car with the engine running in the victim's driveway. the chp was chasing a stolen sedan around 10 am when a man and woman got out on canadians the brontk and pulled a gun on another driver taking his pickup truck.

is a black 2008 toyota tacoma with an extra door the tailgate the suspect is a man and woman who were last seen headed east toward highway 24. an arrest on the san jose state campus. josephus and seo open fire on the campus's main library on thursday evening. they don't know why they say it is unclear if he is a student at the school. no one was hurt. he was booked into santa clara county school in charges including assault with a firearm. this shooting at an inhabited dwelling as well with attempted murder charges. the woman known as emily doe is breaking her silence. her name is chanelle miller and she opened up about the night is saved her life forever in an exclusive interview 60 minutes. she spoke about the night that she cross paths with brock turner. she says she's never denied she drinks the combination of whiskey vodka and champagne.

we are going live to washington dc. the climate protests that kenny just mentioned a few minutes ago , we are getting live pictures of the police moving in on the protesters. we've seen several people being arrested. they are trying to block key intersections in an attempt to shut down traffic in the nation's capital. they have so far been a successful in their endeavors. these are the endeavors that we saw last friday across the globe. this one is called shut down dc. it looks like the authorities are not playing around. but they do have a lot of demonstrators to deal with. so we are keeping an eye on

your tracking some problems on the san mateo bridge? >> guess i am. there's a major injury accident causing some delays as you work your way westbound just before the toll plaza. the traffic is blocked in at least two lanes here. the emergency crews are on to the area. you can use the dunbar bridge in the meantime but it is still pretty early. traffic is still fairly light once you pass that accident. moving through some okay speeds once you are past that. but as long as it becomes through a made definitely slow you down this morning. so keep that in mind. once you do pass the accident here's a live look at the san mateo bridge. no delays as they had through foster city. most of those trouble spots or as you are approaching the toll plaza. if you plan to take 880 this morning so far so good. no troubles going past the coliseum. you can see traffic until lights moving with no trouble looking good as well with an

easy ride all the way down into hayward. we did get word of a frog advisory at the golden gate bridge on the northern part of the span. so be careful as you work your way across out of marin. and if you're heading toward the bay bridge this morning we are stacked up early. you can see that 8880 overpass is looking good coming off of the east shore and elsewhere in the south bay, better news report lawrence expressway the offramp has now been reopened from an earlier crash. we are not seeing any delays right now but traffic is moving okay on the north 101 as well as 280. not seeing any troubles. traffic is pretty quiet. a bit foggy on the golden gate however. >> you can see the fog here. we are tracking areas of fog along the coast and through parts of the bay this morning. we will continue to see n. shine as we had through e urin the 50s and 60s. good morning to you and 58 in

livermore. downtown san francisco is looking at 60 in san jose and 52 in santa rosa. we are talking about the heat. we are going through at least tonight over the next few days. extreme fire conditions coming through. a red flag warning from nine from 9 am until 9 pm. for the east bay hills and the diablo range. all because of an offshore flow. northerly winds coming in at 10 to 25 miles per hour. and low relative humidity values down to 20%. extreme fire danger as we go through the next few days. we will watch that very closely for you with fires that can spread very quickly in the heart of fire season. is all because of a strong ridge of higher pressure. offshore winds that are hot and dry air we are looking at low relative humidity values and high fire danger. those temperatures will be heating up. much warmer compared yesterday

with her then boyfriend to shoot green. the two then allegedly turned to a friend olivia adele to get rid of the evidence. the body later turned up off of dirt road in sonoma county. they are being tried together. both pled not guilty and accused him of committing the crimes. a nasty crash on sun valley boulevard. three vehicles crashed into each other south of sun valley mall. neither drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash. no word on the victims conditions this morning. an update in utah. the bus driver was recently hired and was on his first trip when the accident occurred. pel friday 27 others were hurt after the tour bus crashed near bryce canyon national park. the bus somehow overturned and

you can see the marine layer coming through this morning along the coast and through parts of the bay. we are heating up this afternoon. we talked about the high fire danger coming up. the primetime emmy awards was full of surprises. and one-of-a-kind moments. game of thrones took the top prize. the hbo series got outstanding drama series for the eighth and final season. making history last night, billy porter became the first openly black man to win an emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his work in posse. >> english after jody comber took her first emmy award for best actor in a drama series for her role of killing eve. and her excepted speeds she said she didn't expect to win so she did not invite her parents to join her at the show. >> sorry mom and dad. >> that's so sad. anyway they got to see on tv.

this is northbound 101 to the san mateo bridge to give us a better look of the crash. 101 itself looks pretty good in both directions. it just past the beaumont area a few minutes ago. no major snags as you work your way through their. elsewhere traveling on the golden gate bridge there is a bit of fogginess out here. limited visibility as you come out of rand. no delays in the 101 itself. traffic is moving nicely this monday morning. we are getting into the city on the golden gate. not quite that way here on the bay bridge all the way to la mesa right now. there is an effect on the eastshore freeway as well as 580. it is a lot better on the upper deck heading into the city. but if you break lights once you get to fremont and san francisco itself. business as usual if you typically take the 580 commute you're going to see break lights coming through all the way to grant line.
