seam to bring the pipe together. that is a factory done well. forces the well on the field where the pieces, called the girth well. or circumference well, people in the field. we will be exploring that, and one of those was the clean break and the plight. there is where you could see a distinct, clean break of the-tight. and that was a well defect. the other end was torn, shredded, and much less clean. there were several sections of the pipe and that 28 ft. section. >> i do not remember the exact count but several and the question was how many sections were welded together. >> one more question, please. >> the question is a can i tell one the last audit was and i do not have the automation but our investigators will be
determining that and looking at the history of the operation. thank you thank you. >> so, that was the latest from the investigators. just to review what they said, they still love not determine the cause of the blast. they have still been unable to confirm any of the reports that people smelled gas in the neighborhood prior to the blast. that is the latest from san bruno, kate thompson, kron 4 news. >> now, the investigation is looking at documents and interviewing those people that affiliations with what happened in san bruno. much more ahead, stay with us for continuing coverage of the san bruno gasoline explosion. you can also go to our website www.kron.com. that is or have a special section set up a lot more information. we will be right that is or have a special section set up a lot more information. we will be right back.
