this evening. temperatures outside, a mix of '40's and '50's. take a look at satellite and radar showing a small system rainshowers to organ into the northern part of our state. that is increasing cloud cover. partly cloudy into the afternoon and a chance for light showers on the north bay this evening. the light green color on your screen indicates sprinkled near santa rosa. more widespread by 1:00 p.m.. by 4:00 a.m., san rafael, now, all a chance for light showers. the good news is the rain will be overnight. we should be clear and dry by 8:00 a.m.. we will stay dry into the afternoon. temperatures are running 15 degrees below the seasonal norm. we have low 60s in east bay. 674 livermore. really cool

>> perhaps 7:02 a.m.. a shooting is being investigated in oakland, two people were killed just before 9:30 p.m. last night near the east bay dragons motorcycle club on eighty eighth avenue and international boulevard. will tran is joining us with details. he has been following the investigation. >> the motorcycle club is right behind me. the motorcycle club was closed at the time and had nothing to do with the shooting. it just happens to happen in this area. they are using that as a landmark. there was something having correchappn tell but this did marks. a lot

of people are walking around saying they heard a lot of noise and a lot of activity. two people were killed at the scene, a man and a woman. apparently they were shot right here, sidewalk. we do not know with their relation is. there is also the third person. a woman, 28, she was rushed to highland hospital. at last check and 6:30 a.m., she is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, but still alive. we are hoping to hear from the oakland police department. >> it has been a violent weekend in san jose, two people are dead after two separate attacks. the first near the 1700 block of solti drive. in 18 year-old man was set down stabbed to death. he had just graduated on wednesday. on saturday night, a 35 year-old mother of five was found shot to death in the 4000 block of amber waves. that

pickup truck had its back and shoulder of blown out from bullets. no word on a motive for either of these deaths. >> another story from hayward where a nursing student has been missing since friday. 26 year- old michelle lee was seen leaving her nursing class at 7:00 p.m. at kaiser hospital in hayward. according to police she told classmates that she was coined to drive to reno with a friend after class. she left class during a break but never returned. investigators found her car but they have not searched it yet. they did see a laptop through the car window. investigators say that they have been trying to call herself on. she had her phone with her when she left, but the calls of gone unanswered. the friend who was going to reno with lead told police that she never showed up for the trip. >> girlfriend never received

view of joplin, missouri from the damage of that monster tornado years ago. he says the damage will take years and he is asking americans to donate to the red cross. his visit happens one week after that tornado came to the city planning homes and leaving 142 people dead. over 30 people still remain unaccounted for. >> if you plan on travelling, and was not that easy. storms in the west could cause more delays. people in chicago last night, i will telo'hare internal canceled 450 flights. no major delays were reported, but here is a lesson i learned, up for the text of boards that the airlines offered. it will tell you if your plan is delayed and you will not get stuck in the airport for two hours.

area at the time. a man and woman died at the there is also a 20 year old woman, i need to confirm this, but i was told she was an innocent bystander and caught in the crossfire, she was taken to highland hospital. at last check she was in critical condition, fighting for life but still alive. as soon as i hear more from oakland police department i will pass that information along. no motives or suspects at this time. >> the search continues in this morning for a missing university student, her name is michelle wheat. last seen friday night at a nursing class. nicole shannon felled tell us what police know right now. >> 26 year-old michelle lee was

seen leaving her nursing class around 7:00 p.m. on friday at kaiser hospital in hayward. the class is part of the program she is enrolled in with samuel merritt university. lee told classmates that she was going to drive to reno after a friend with a friend after school. she left during a break that evening and never returned. investigators found her car parked a few blocks away at hospital and have not been able to reach her. they tracked down a friend that was supposed to go to reno with lead, they told her that he never showed up. >> she never received calls as to a cancellation of plans are making alternate plans to go to reno. that is obviously curious and suspicious for us. we do have some tracking on her cell phone, it is not kind. that could indicate a dead battery, the phone could be off or she could be out of self-service. "

was only mentioned because it is a landmark. one woman said there was a lot of activity. she did not think of something that was once happened but she was nonetheless afraid so she stayed indoors. two people were shot on this side of international boulevard. a man and woman. one person said that the woman killed was an innocent bystander. there was another third woman taken from highland hospital where at last check she remains in critical condition.

at this point we do not have a motive for the shooting or any suspects. hopefully we will hear more from oakland police department. apparently there were a lot of people here with guns on their person. we do not know if it was alcohol or a confrontation or a history between the two men. according to some people i spoke with, they believe the victim and shooter knew one another in happen to one across one another yesterday around 9:30 p.m.. that is a common occurrence around memorial day when people get together and do a side show activities. >> it has been a violent weekend
