at what happened. this >> is ninth and san salvador. this is her campus police say a woman was sexually assaulted just before 2:00 a.m. on september 11th. above her dorm rooms where students were sleeping, police say the attack happened just off campus. no other member mission has been released. police say another woman was sexually assaulted around 10:00 a.m. by a black male with crooked lower front teeth. students are surprised at two cases have been so close together. >> things like that should not be happening around here. it makes the campus look bad, but it is a wonderful place. it makes me upset that you have people going around doing stupid things like this.
>> we are keeping our eyes on bay area weather and traffic. an update on the forecast with james fletcher. >> a live look from the roof camera. the fog is bad over the city of san francisco and causing problems as of vogue. one hour delays for rival flights. this is patchy fog. in walnut creek much better conditions. this afternoon we should see these temperatures in some select locations in the east bay and antioch. concord, mid-80s and mostly sunny.
temperatures are right now, in some areas in view of cool off, you have dropped a degree in fairfield. here is where we see temperatures going this afternoon. san jose is hovering around the 80 degree mark. the inland valleys will be warm. upper 80s and antioch was possibly 90s near brentwood. 71 in oakland, 75 in hayward. as a slide over to the peninsula we are warm on the southern part near redwood city and palo alto.
74 in san rafael. here is your 7 day forecast. cooling it kicks in tomorrow and stay with us until friday. temperatures inland dipping from the upper 80s to the upper 80s by friday. >> traffic is backed up only to the middle of the east parking lot. the san mateo bridge has been a problem free. there are no problems reported across the span or over the high rise. 101 southbound is still a smooth commute into the city looking at east bay traffic we are starting to pick up some slowing for both
interstate 880 and southbound 680. the westbound highway 4 ride is showing some slowing through pittsburgh but it is a problem free. westbound on 580 is typically heavy. a little slowing for the single grade and fremont and milpitas corridor. 101 northbound, no delays as you head up from the coyote valley all the way down to san mateo it is an easy trip. we have added about eight minutes to the drive time. 31 minutes from navato to the golden gate bridge. >> to major accident and
argentina. at least seven people are dead after a train slammed into a bus. the train derailed and was hit by a second train on the opposite tack. crews are on the scene and scrambling to help the crash victims. more than 160 people were hurt. many have serious injuries. the bus driver was among those killed. >> 7 07 a.m.. we are back with more and a couple of minutes. here is a live look outside from the mt. tam cam. fully covered in clouds in the distance. mid-80's when the sun comes out. we will be right back.

stretch along 101 and petaluma and santa rosa. towards sfo, overcast. cupertino is now seeing some of the cloud cover as well. we do not anticipate it to last long. temperatures at this hour are in the '50s and '60s with warmer temperatures to the east. we have widespread 80's through the east bay and south bay. a fairly decent mix of '60s and '70s. san jose coming in at about 80 degrees. close to 90 degrees near
brentwood. if you are going to be at the oakland a's game at the coliseum as they take on the angels, expect mostly clear and mild conditions at game time. we will have your 7 day forecast coming off and a little bit. an update from bart's. there are delays heading out towards sfo. if you are heading out to as of all on board, give yourself some additional time. on the freeways we are not tracking any hot spots. a 14-16 minute drive time for the
westbound ride but no problems. the san mateo bridge is problem and delay free with no issues as you head over towards 101. heavy volume on the golden gate bridge but no delays to southbound traffic. heavier through the altemont pass. some slowing through a word. 101 as you head no. you'll find the slowest traffic through the freeways. that is usually where things start a slowdown. the peninsula commute is a little slow here and there for 101 through broadway and burlingame. then again through redwood city. the 101 ride is starting to slow from 37 to lincoln. it has

gatos. the inland valleys is where we will see the hottest temperatures. near 90 degrees today. made 80's through the san ramon valley. temperatures warming as you head south. in the san francisco area we should seek roughly 65 degrees. a little warmer than that in the financial district. upper 70's and low 80's this afternoon. here is your 7 day forecast. we will begin pulling tomorrow. that is
your weather. let's get caught up on your commute. >> 15 minute arrival delays in and out of millbrae. there were some loose boards on a train that was travelling in that area. the train was damaged so they have to take it out of service. crews are on seam replacing the cover boards. we are half of rate on the freeways. the westbound drive times are still 16 minutes heading from the macarthur maze to the upper deck of the bay bridge. the san mateo bridge ride is 13 minutes. no delays in either direction but much heavier volume coming in from the toll plaza. the golden gate bridge is a problem free. we
are approaching the peak in volume. as we pick up slope east bay traffic, normal drive times for 80, highway 4 and 680 into the san ramon valley. west 580 is still a little better than usual. not much of a delay through the fremont and milpitas corridor. 101 it, the heaviest traffic confined to the area between the two freeways. slow on los gatos . slow between the 92 and 101 interchange. we still have some slow traffic here, southdown coming from 37 to lincoln drive times are still under 35 minutes. patent dennis herrera >> linda filed for bankruptcy forcing a layoff

along the peninsula and in the north bay but that will change in just a little bit. we will see some decent warming take hold. we should see temperatures of like this. low-mid '80s around of the south bay. cooling as you head towards the bay waters. inland and ease the waters have the warmer temperatures. mid- 60's expected for downtown san francisco. and mix of '70s and '80s.
>> the right has been pretty tame all morning long. a better ride today than yesterday for the westbound upper deck commute. the san mateo bridge is a problem free. looking westward towards a high-rise, no delays or surprises across the span. the ride on 101 from marin county still looks good coming across
the golden gate bridge. there is some fall but it is really not going to slow the ride as he had across the span. if the drive times become severe, that could be our first hot spot. westbound 580 is still pretty normal. we are picking up some slow traffic for 280 heading out towards cupertino from downtown. it is still what i would describe as a local lighter than usual.

a lot of pressure off of the bay bridge. anyone coming from 580 or the nimitz is going to have a very easy ride getting to the bay bridge this morning. that is likely to continue for a while longer. looking at some of the other bridges, a quick bridge check. the san mateo bridge has been a problem free and still have the westbound. there are no delays on the stand. your golden gate bridge ride still looks good for your trip in from marin county even with the heavy traffic on the span from southbound highway 101. 8:47 a.m.. let's get a check on weather. >> we will begin in the east bay. wanna creek showing a lot of sunshine coming down. as you saw in the golden gate bridge camera, not everyone sees the sunshine. in san francisco, cloudy skies over the city

a.m. as we are tracking to major hot spots. the ride on interstate 80 westbound, the powell street on ramp to the west has been shut down because of an overturned 18 wheeler. the ramp is likely to be closed for about an hour. it has only increased the drive time for about eight minutes westbound. we expect this will continue to back up westbound traffic. is likely to create
