freezing for several hours. bring your pets and plants inside. on the eve of election day, some of san francisco's candidates along with their supporters took to the streets tonight. >> trying to get visibility. >> some supporters such as the one you heard, tried to get the attention of commuters after work today. bus stops and bart stations downtown. this is ed lee's campaign. we got up with ed lee. what he and his supporters are doing to lock in the last minute voters. >> reporter: ed lee shook hands with commuters monday night and encouraging them to vote in tuesday's election. >> they have a right to do it.

the latest results. video involving a "occupy oakland" protester. this video shows him being shot with a rubber bullet by police. he said the police had no reason to open fire. >> there were several protesters behind me. i was separated from the rest of the crowd. there was absolutely nothing going on. >> and this is a picture of his injury which he alleges came from police. he plans on joining the protest again. no response from police. >> and we have a mugshot to show you. he is a veteran of the wars in iraq and afghanistan, he was arrested last week in oakland. his family allege he did not get medical care. however, alejandra cerball spoke with officials who argue

differently and they say they have the video to prove it. >> you can look at the video, he was walking, talking, appeared to be fine, which is why we accepted him. we transport people that are sick and then when he starts to get in distress, deputy bends over. trying to offer his help, pats him on the back, gives him? couragement. stays with him. calls the nurse. refused medication. deputy says we will move you. let me help you up. grabs his hands. helps him up. steadies him and he walks out. as his condition deteriorated, we called an ambulance and got him to highland. to say that we offered no help
