outrage from parents in livermore tonight. two sisters-- charged with abusing and neglecting infants at their day care center. prosecutors say, they bound the babies so tightly that the children could barely both women will be back in court next week. in antioch. after 8 bomb threats in four days. police say a 16-year old student has confessed to thepolice say students at deer valley high school gave officers tips that led them to the suspect. the schools affected were

black diamond middle school. and deer valley high school. a crackdown in the east bay.f-b-i swat teams and oakland police. served several search warrants and made several arrests. 13 warrants were served in oakland. and one each in antioch, hayward and san leandro. many of those served were at the acorn housing complex in oakland. drugs were also seized during the operation. but investigators say removing from the streets was their primary objective a fire that gutted this home in pacific heights wednesday. caused more than one-point-seven million dollars in damage. francisco fire department. this is video from athe three -alarm fire broke out inside a home on the two- thousand block ofan elderly brother and sister. who have lived there since the 1970's. were able to get out safely.

richmond and port chicago naval magazine national memorial in concord will not be hit quite as hard. staffing positions and their hours of opeartion will remain the same, but the programs untill further notice. in the east bay, charles clifford kron 4 news. san francisco's central subway project is getting ready for its next big step. drilling tunnels more than a mile and a half long, and deep below downtown. kron 4's maureen kelly takes us underground for a look. what you are looking at is where eventually the two tunnels one for each direction of the t linewill be dug. if you look closely you can have wall which shows where drills will start boring holes that will go as deep as 90 feet below downtown san francisco. right now we are 40 feet belowwith 4th street running above us over here is the hole where the machines that will do the digging are going to be lowered down
