the search is on for a san francisco man f-b-i agents say could be armed and dangerous. and is now on the run. the wanted man is 42-year-old ryan kelly chamberlain. agents say he's being investigated for possessing explosives. we began our team coverage on the investigation and the developing details of the suspect with kron 4's alecia reid. she spoke to f-b-i officials earlier today and has the latest in this criminal investigation our team coverage continues now. scott rates joins us.

neighbors tell us the chamberlain lived in the apartments for about three years obviously so many disturbing details about ryan kelly chamberlain. today kron 4 caught up with people in the russian hill neighbor where chamberlain lived. one woman in particular who lived in the same building as chamberlin she says she has been inside his home.

jane liu says she would trade places with her son weihan david wang , if she could. sot- "you were our joy. we did not give you big house, fancy stuff, but we have given you all our love." hundreds from the community where david lived and graduated from fremont christian high school aso shared that love by sitting the pews of harbor light church, listening to stories about david. his father charly, says david was a straight-a student. and, through an interpreter, says life won't be the same without him. sot- "i think as far as our family is concerned, truly, our sky has fallen." david's parents say he had a passion for life, his friends and basketball. born in china, he immigrated to

canada, then the united states, where he was destined to be a successful man. sot- "your dream was to open a computer company after graduating. for this dream, you studied so hard for the last two years, but everything ended too soon." in fremont, philippe djegal, kron four news.

the greatest gift a mother can give is life itself. kron four's dan rubin met a man who gave his mother's life a second chance. by donating a kidney to someone he'll never know. coming to san francisco's kidney walk would not have been possible for barbara berkowitz. for the one out of every nine americans that will suffer from kidney disease. dialysis is the most common treatment. but dialysis is not a cure. a better treatment option is a

kidney transplant. but finding a donor takes about eight years. unfortunately neither of them was a match. so, allison assembled a team to make a different kind of donation. every cent has gone directly to the national kidney foundation. meanwhile, sandy joined a team from ucsf that matches living donors with someone else's loved one in need. sandy and barbara were cross- matched with four other people. who they are is still unknown. all six people underwent sucessful surgeries.

among the one thousand people at the san francisco kidney walk. there are many success stories. but there are thousands more still waiting to be written. reporting in san francisco, dan rubin, kron four news. american idol finalist scott macintyre made an appearance at the kidney walk. the singer was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure when he was a teenager. he describes what it was like to battle the disease from a young age. macintyre performed for over one thousand kidney disease survivors and their loved ones this afternoon. the event was held by the national kidney foundation. which raises money for kidney disease research. 7 people were killed in a private plane crash in massachusetts. it happened last night after taking off from hanscom field airport, outside boston.

the plane was headed to atlantic city. among the victims was lewis katz, a media mogul popular in philadelphia. katz was a former owner of the n-h-l's new jersey devils and n-b-a's new jersey nets. he was also the co-owner of the philadelphia inquirer and philadelphia daily news. a pilot was killed sunday when his plane crashed at the stevens point air show in wisconsin. the accident, which was caught on camera, stunned those at the air show. watch this footage. organizers canceled the rest of the show after the fatal accident and sent the crowds home. the cause of the crash is under investigation. a u.s. soldier held captive in afghanistan is now in germany receiving medical treatment. sergeant bowe bergdahl was held for nearly 5 years by insurgents in afghanistan. he is now at an american military hospital in berlin. sergeant bergdahl will then continue on to the u.s. in the meantime, medical staff in germany are evaluating his condition and assisting in his recovery process.

new details emerging of a revised bill that will address problems within the veterans' health care system. the measure will be introduced this week. the bill would allow veterans to seek care outside the v-a if they face long delays. former v-a secretary eric shinseki resigned last week due to widespread problems with the health care system. an audit conducted on the v-a says schedulers were pressured to use bad practices to make waiting times for medical appointments look more favorable. emmy-winning actress ann b. davis has died in a texas hospital. she was best known for her role as the loveable housekeeper, alice, on "the brady bunch". a longtime friend says she fell yesterday at her san antonio home and never recovered. davis was television's sweethart in the 1960's. she led a quiet and religious life up to her death. she never married. ann b. davis was 88 years old. ahead of tuesday's primary election community leaders and environmental advocates along the penninsula are pushing for a measure that would create

walmart has found a way to cash in on the feud between amazon and the book publisher hachette. amazon and hachette, the publisher of popular authors including j-k rowling, are fighting over digital book prices. amazon has reportedly blocked pre-orders for some upcoming releases, including rowling's "the silkworm." so, walmart jumped into action. the world's largest retailer
