(pam) tonight, we are just eleven hours away from a verdict in the sierra lamar murder trial. hello -- i'm pam moore.(steve) and i'm steve aveson. the jury reached a decision today.... deliberating for less than two days after the 13 week trial. 15-year-old sierra lamar vanished back in 2012. the morgan hill cheerleader was last seen on her way to school.... her body has never been found.(pam) despite that -- prosecutors say, d-n-a evidence proves, she was killed by this man -- antolin garcia torres. his defense attorneys have argued -- sierra lamar is not dead -- just missing.(steve)

"we were able to look at some video from the neighborhood and it looked like he was just walking around and just randomly picked this residence. we matched the video with a stolen vehicle that was also recovered" st. john... was a widow, mother and grandmother. the marin county county coronor.. accused of sexually assaulting a young girl, made his first court apperance today. this case dates back to 2008. that is when prosecutors allege ... darrel alan harris started sexually assaulting a girl... and then later again, when she was older. harris was arrested recently in eureka... and brought back to marin county. he is now in jail on 750- thousand dollars bail. harris' attorney and family believe the 46-year-old part- time photgrapher... is innocent. drivers might not like... there is a proposal to turn highway- 37... into a toll road. kron4's charles clifford breaks down the potential plan -- and has reaction from commuters. well, 40 thousands cars use highway 37 every day. it connects marin, sonoma, napa and solano counties. but the traffic backups and frequent flooding have become a problem here. recent estimates have suggested it could take billions of dollars to fix thos issues. at this point, charging commuters a toll to address those problems is just an idea but one that is being seriously considered.for the past few years, a committee of elected officials from across the north bay has been working on finding ways to reduce congestion on highway 37 and address the flooding problems. under normal circumstances, it

parents of a man who along with his fancee was murdered nearly 13 years ago -- got their first step towards closure.(pam) jason allen and lindsay cutshall were murdered on a beach in jenner.. back in 2004. for years, there were nothing but dead ends in the cold case investigation. (steve) then on friday, the sonoma county sheriff's office said the killer was in custody. reporter lynsey mukomel sat down with jason's parents.

(steve) the suspect in the case was already in custody -- accused of killing his brother. police say they used that opportunity to talk to him again about the killing of the couple. and he allegedly told them information only the killer would know. (pam) the valero oil refinery in benicia ... is being fined for violating regional air pollution rules.... following the flaring incident on friday. the bay area air quality management district says, it has issued four violations. one for causing a public nuisance, and three for releasing excessive smoke. it all started with a power outage at the refinery on friday morning that led to flaring... which released massive plumes of thick, black smoke into the air, prompting a shelter in place and an evacuation in the area. there will be continued flaring at the valero refinery this week while crews work to restore operations at the facility. there is no word on how much longer the flaring will continue. finally coming to an end.i'm steve aveson.((pam)) and i'm pam moore. tomorrow a verdict will be announced in the sierra lamar murder trial.the teen went missing near morgan hill back in 2013.((fsc)) antolin garcia- torres is charged with her murder. his lawyers claim sierra lamar is not dead -- just missing. if convicted.. he could face the death penalty.
