armed robbery suspect near the carlmont shopping center. authorities say, the suspect ran into a drain pipe under the shopping center. right now, police are searching buildings on the campus of immaculate heart of mary catholic school .. the suspect is desribed as a possibly asian or hispanic man... in his 20's with a facial tattoo. he was wearing red shorts, according to authorities. again... police are hunting for an armed robbery suspect in belmont.if you see this suspect... you are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately. we will continue to stay on this story ... and bring you any updates. ambulance. and right there's a manhunt on for the shooter. let's go ahead and show you some aerials where this is going on. the shooting happened at longview drive and watt avenue, just off of interstate 80 in sacramento... near a light rail station. as you can see - dozens of police vehicles and choppers are in the area. roads - blocked off to traffic. a nearby red roof inn is on lockdown with reports the suspect ran inside. police believe that he is barracaded in the hotel. obviously they're telling people to stay away from the area. the sheriff deputy who was shot has been rushed to the hospital. we don't know his condition. we'll have news details as we get them. live from the newsroom, pam steve back to you. in san francisco's duboce triangle neighborhood. san francisco fire department officials say it happened at the corner of castro and beaver streets at around 6. the 9 victims were hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening. the collision happened on the 24-divisidero line. the crash is causing some bus delays. drivers are being asked to avoid the area. 7 newark police tell me it's a little bit of everything7 small items, big mortar items, aerials7 patrol team found craigslist ad for the fireworks, had telephone number 7 officers called and set up an undercover buy, then arrested the man who was selling them.7 got a search warrant and found 378 pounds of fireworks in his home. pine fire started late tuesday morning near kent lake (steve) so far it's burned more than 30 acres. kron 4's charles clifford was in marin this afternoon. he has details. well, right now i'm standing along fairfax-bolinas road just outside fairfax here in marin county. this fire is actually burning a few miles to the west of where i am over by kent lake. the good news is that its only burned about 38 acres, it is moving slowly at this point and is roughly 78 percent contained as of tuesday evening and is not threatening any structures. let's go ahead and take a look at some video and still images taken by the marin county fire department on tuesday. this fire started about 10:26 in the morning over by kent lake. it was spotted by a park ranger. it's burning in a very remote location mainly through grass and brush. a few trees. cal fire responded with a helicopter and fixed wing aircraft making water and flame retardant drops around the burn zone. about 80 fire fighters are here from multiple agencies trying to get a handle on this fire. it

was breezy here in marin on tuesday but the humidity was high. if it had been a hot dry day this fire may have moved faster but that is helping fire fighters keeping this fire from burning out of control. fire crews are going to remain here through out tuesday evening and they are hoping for full containment by or possibly wednesday morning. in marin county, charles clifford kron 4 news. (pam) there are several other major wildfires we are keeping an eye on tonight... the hill fire is burning east of santa margarita... near san luis obispo. so far, the flames have burned 12- hundred acres. the fire is now 40- percent contained. evacuations are in place for several communities near santa margarita. (pam) in los angeles county- a car crash caused this fire... known as the manzanita wildfire. we first told you about it yesterday at kron four news at 5... it has burned nearly 6-thousand acres - and is 20-percent contained. people living in the area have been warned about the possibility of evacuatinons. (pam) in the east bay. . . a string of mailbox thefts has residents on high alert.many are now hoping that the postal service will finally step in and help. take a look ... this is just one of the many thefts.a man gets caught on surveillance video... boldly taking what isn't his... at the camden housing complex in hayward. some residents say, they have not received mail in weeks.one woman says, neighbors have sent videos to the homeowner's association, the police and the u-s-p-s. officials say, investigators are on the case. . . they encourage residents to keep sending videos to help catch the thieves. think a pot dispensary is a bad fit for their area, raising concerns about the smell of marijuana smoke and an increase in crime in the area. a spokesperson for the proposed dispensary says, they will not allow the consumption of pot around the shop ... and adds, they have never had a police incident at their other facility in the castro district. and supporters claim, there is support for marijuana in the neighborhood, pointing to polling data that shows.. the majority of sunset district residents voted in favor of legalizing pot. chicago officers are charged with conspiracy tonight... (pam) a special prosecutor says, the men covered up key aspects of a black teen's deadly shooting. (pam) the men were at the scene, when 16-year-old laquan mcdonald was shot 16- times by officer jason van dyke. jason van dyke... pleaded not guilty to murder charges. those at the scene say, the black teen was charging towards police with a knife... but dash cam footage contradicts that claim. take a look. you can see mcdonald walking away from police... as he held a four- inch knife... not lunging toward officers... as police had said. today... the three current or former officers were charged with conspiracy, official misconduct and obstruction of justice. their arraignment is july 10th. danon: alright, july 4th travel coming up here and we're going to see the lowest gas prices that we've seen in years.black: it's pretty amazing isn't it? so, because most of us we fill up our tank of gas and we look at it as kind of a tax when gas is expensive. right now, it's not expensive. drivers on the road this fourth of july. we're going to see the cheapest gas prices since 2005. u.s. consumers are going to see $2.21 cents per gallon at the pump. and again you're not going to see that in california because california has really high taxes. prices are expected to be lower than they were on new year's day this year about 12 cents. gas prices are down 15 cents in the last couple of weeks. opec tried to cut the supply by
