than 20 min from the toll to 101 ( darya ) our top story this morning... police in san francisco are looking for raiders star aldon smith.( james ) he is wanted as a part of a domestic violence investigation. kron 4's will tran is live at raiders headquarters this morning with the details. will. ( will ) suspended raiders linebacker aldon smith is once again facing domestic violence allegations. now... san francisco police are looking for him. police were called to a home on bush street saturday night... for a domestic violence incident. police say the victim's injuries are not life- threatening. by the time police got to the home... smith was not there. but he was named as the attacker. smith is already serving an indefinite suspension for violating the n-f-l's rules on substance abuse. smith has been arrested several times on charges of drunken driving, public intoxication and illegal possession of assault rifles since the san francisco 49ers drafted him in 2011 in the first round. smith signed with the raiders in 2015.

( james ) aldon smith has a history of run-ins with police. here are just some of the past incidents.( darya ) in september of 2013... he was arrested and charged with d-u-i after crashing into a tree in san jose. then in october of that same year... he turned himself in for weapons charges related to an incident in 2012.( james ) then in august of 2015 he was sentenced to 20 days in jail after a hit-and-run. then he was investigated in february of 2017 for domestic violence... no charges were filed in that case.( darya ) then a month later he was

detained after a car he was riding in crashed with a police car in san francisco. no charges were filed in that case either. ( darya ) a big story this morning... teachers and students will see added security at san francisco's rooftop elementary school.( james ) this comes after an adult threatened the school. kron 4's yoli aceves joins us live this morning. yoli... ( yoli ) parents can expect to see an increase of police patrols and school security this morning because of a man allegedly threaten the school last week was released from jail yesterday. this all started last week tuesday when the accused man went down to the school district and in person threaten the school district. he also made multiple threatening phone calls to elementary school. the police officers did arrest the man that same but he made bail on sunday. we don't have man but he has been described as a member" in the meantime there access to the increase in security. as continues we parents and the principal of the school ( james ) thanks yoli. we will check back with you through out the morning. ( james ) happening now in the south bay... a man is recovering after being shot in san jose. it happened sunday morning on the 16-hundred block of la rossa circle. the victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

police are still searching for the gunman/ ( james ) in the east bay... a man who was shot was walking near highway 8-80 next to the oakland coliseum on sunday. good samaritans saw the man and picked him up. on their way to the hospital.. they saw police and flagged them down. officers took over and drove the injured man to the hospital. police say a car crash may have been involved... however, the location of the shooting is still under investigation. ( james ) police are investigating a woman's death after she was hit by a car on i-80 in san francisco. this happened near the 4th street exit. police say the woman was seen walking near the exit... when she was hit by a ford escape. officials believe several other cars may have hit the woman without even knowing it. the driver of the ford stayed on scene and was questioned by police. no arrests have been made. ( darya ) a woman and her dog are rescued from a cliff near fort funston in san francisco. san francisco

firefighters posted these pictures on twitter. the rescue started just after 6:00 last night. rescue crews say a ball went over the cliff and then the dog... a pittbull named blueberry... followed it. neither the woman nor the dog were injured. ( darya ) a robbery in daly city leads to a chase in san francisco... and ends with a crash. police got a call about a robbery at the safeway at the westlake center.... around 7 last night. police say the thief took cash out of a register... and then drove off. officers then chased the thief into san francisco. the thief crashed their car into a newspaper stand on church and market streets... and that's where they were taken into custody. ( darya ) san leandro police have made an arrest in an assault case. police say maxwell littleton got into an argument with a friend inside a grocery store.. and threatened him with a gun. once outside the store... littleton hit his friend with a wooden stick... knocking him to the ground. the victim was treated for minor injuries. littleton is facing two charges for assault with a and

( james ) a man accused of burglarizing a walnut creek gated senior community is behind bars. the rossmoor senior living community houses more than 9-thousand people. saturday night.. police say michael kemper got through its security. he drove off a stolen car .... and crashed several miles away. he then tried stealing another car... but police caught him. a woman told us she was surprised to hear this happened in the normally quiet community. ( james ) police say kemper has a criminal history in walnut creek for stealing cars. ( darya ) today is the deadline to end the daca program. but right now... the program is tied up in court. back in january... president trump said a bipartisan deal on daca was close. but the deadline is here... and there is no deal. court decisions have forced the white house to keep renewing daca permits until

further notice. a senate attempt to pass legislation on immigration failed... and since then congress has backed off the issue. over the weekend... a number of daca rallies were held across the country. ( darya ) daca advocates worry many recipients may find themselves in some sort of limbo... where renewal applications are not be completed before present protections expire. but white house says deporting dreamers will not be a priority. ( james ) the oakland unified school district has secured a two million dollar grant to support refugee and immigrant students. the money will be used to hire bilingual counselors... help students with career training... and streamline the processing of foreign transcripts and transfers. the superintendent says it is about removing obstacles when foreign students arrive in the district. toll plaza. richmond bridge drive less than 20 min from the toll to 101 ( james ) four teens are in custody following a stolen car investigation in san bruno. it happened saturdy afternoon at the tanforan mall on sneath lane and el camino real. officials saw several people run out of the mall and get into a stolen car. the driver hit multiple cars trying to speed off... the group stopped at a gas station... got out of the

car... and tried to run away. the four teens were taken into custody for multiple violations. ( james ) in the east bay... the family of a man killed by concord police was awarded a one-point-two million dollar settlement. 21-year-old charles burns was killed by police who came to his home to serve a search warrant in 20-13. he was accused of selling drugs. the family's attorney says charles was unarmed... and that officers came in unmarked cars. the young man was shot 10 times... we spoke to the victim's father who says the officers need to be punished. ( james ) the city of concord agreed to pay the settlement just weeks before the lawsuit was set to go to trial. ( darya ) a man is in jail after concord police say he rammed into 3 police cars during a chase. it happened friday night when officers tried to pull over a

van for a code violation. police say during the stop... the driver hit a police car and took off. and during the chase... hit two other police cars. the driver-- joseph cormier of walnut creek-- was arrested and charged with three counts of assault weapon.suffered minor injuries. ( darya ) san francisco police tweeted out this photo from a drug arrest over the weekend. a man was found in possession of 142 bags of heroin... cocaine and meth. the arrest was made on eddy street near larkin street in the tenderloin neighborhood. ( darya ) in the north bay... police in marin county arrested a man for driving drunk and selling cocaine. an officer pulled over the man for driving on the wrong side of the road. the man failed the sobriety tests. inside the car... police found cocaine and money. the c-h-p booked him into the marin county jail. ( james ) members of the california air national guard based at moffett field... took

part in a dangerous rescue mission. they went to save the life of a seriously ill 54-year-old croatian man. he was on a container ship coming from panama. the rescue took place more than 600 miles off the california coast. this is video of the rescue helicopter landing at san jose regional medical center... there is no word on the man's condition this morning. ( james ) in the east bay ... in the east bay ... police are investigating a fire that damaged a home that displaced four people. it happened on anjou place in newark near newark junior high school. here are some photos of the scene. firefighters kept the fire from spreading to nearby homes. two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries. ( james ) vacaville police are asking for help identifying two car thieves caught on surveillance video. multiple cars were broken into at an apartment complex in vacaville last month... the burglars got away with two cars. video surveillance caputured these two people leaving in one of the stolen cars. police are hoping someone will recognize them and turn them in. fairfield gun show about the on-going debate. the expo happened over the weekend on saturday and sunday. thw experience can be educational for those who have never owned a firearm... and are looking to buy. we spoke to a woman who said she wanted to see how easy it would be to buy a gun at the show. < "(philippe) and, what'd you find out? (iris) it is kind of easy. (philippe) what'd you gotta do? (iris) i had to take a test, and pay $25 and now, i'm guess, legally authorized to purchase a gun.">( james ) however, people are not legally able to walk out of the expo with a gun the day it's purchased. ( darya ) high school students got involved in a town hall meeting addressing gun violence. it happened inside vallejo high school's gym. congressman mike thompson was there to answer questions about gun control. he explained how his bill in congress aims to expand the background check system to include all gun sales, whether in person, online, or at a gun show. the bill would also provide grant money to states

( darya ) a santa clara county supervisor is proposing a new ban for county gun shows. supervisor ken yeager will present his proposal on tuesday at a board of supervisors meeting in san jose. he says many of his constituents are alarmed by billboards advertising gun shows in the county. santa clara county currently hosts two gun shows on its fairgrounds that generate six-thousand dollars for the county. in a statement, yeager says firearms sold on county fairfgrounds are quote "contrary to one of the county's main missions: promoting the health and well-being of our residents." ( darya ) in the north bay... police in marin county arrested a man for driving drunk and selling cocaine. an officer pulled over the man for driving on the wrong side of the road. the man failed the sobriety tests. inside the car... police found cocaine and money. the c-h-p booked him into the marin county jail. ( james ) members of the california air national guard based at moffett field... took part in a dangerous rescue mission. they went to save the life of a seriously ill 54-year-old croatian man.
