( darya ) a big story this morning... people living in the portola distrcit in san francisco are fed up with people living in r-v's on their streets. last night residents met with city supervisors wanting measurable goals to address the problem. supervisor hillary ronan says she too is frustrated... she says the city's only response to the problem is to ban oversized vehicles from certain streets... whichsa officials aren't doing enough to help... but human rights organizers say there needs to be alternatives to help the people in r-v's. < they said they had a whole they're going to deal with this issue in all neighborhoods.nothing is done and it's not fair.something other than more restrictions because people dont just disappear they have to go

( darya ) san rafael police are investigatina the accident happened yesterday afternoon just before 3. fire crews were called out to a construction accident with a person trapped on east marin island. the construction worker had become trapped under a section of retaining wall comprised of rock and concrete. the worker was pronounced dead on scene. no word on how the become trapped. cal osha is investigating the incident. ( james ) an 8-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries when a vehicle struck him as he crossed the street. the collision happened around 3 friday afternoon in the sunset the boy was riding a bicycle in the crosswalk when a vehicle on 19th avenue hit him. the boy was rushed to a local hosptial. the driver of the vehicle... a 58-year-old woman was also taken to the hosptial with minor injuries. police say she has not been arrested. released body camera footage of last weeks deadly police shooting. last wednesday police received a 9-1-1 call about a man hittina woman. that man rived on scene molina took off. the footage shows officer christopher simas chasing molina through a park.. over a fence and into a ravine. police say molina failed to comply to demands. the chase went on for more than 5- minutes. the officer is finally able to catch up to molina and cuff one of his hands... but molina was able to get his other hand on the officers gun and fire it multiple times. no one was hit.. then there was another struggle between the two and the officer was able to regain control of his weapon. police say molina then charged at the officer and the officer then shot molina. molina died at the scene. a gun was recovered at the scene. major crimes task force and napa's sheriff's office are investigating the shooting. the officer remains on adminstrative leave. on the peninsula... has died. the incident happened yesterday morning in mi real. officers were responding to a 911 call of a man harming himself with a butcher's 3-if year-old kyle hart was cutting his wrists and throat inside the home. police say when they encountered hart there was a confrontation and he eventually charged at them with that butcher's knife. police say hart lived at the home with his wife and two small children. when officers arrived his wife had sustained minor injuries. the two kids were not injured. ( darya ) a bay area family is trying to find their son who has been missing since november 23-rd. gavin octaviano is a 22-year-old u-c irvine student. he was home in daly city for .. but his friends say he never showed up. octaviano's car was found in a parking lot

district. the thief is seen going through a family's garage while they slept. along with the drill set he takes... he walked away with golf clubs and a mountain bike. the homeowners neighbor's camera shows the man before the crime trying to open car doors. after the thief was able gain access once he came back multiple times for more items... the homeowner says he was surpised how calm the thief acted. police are investigating the thefts and the homeowner has posted the picture of the thief online hoping someone will be able to identify him.

( james ) leaders in brooklyn are responding after video shows new york police wrestlning a one year old boy from his mother's arms. witnesses say a security guard became angry when 23-year-old jazmine headley sat on the floor of the food stamp center. when she refused his order to leave the building, he called police. officers surrounded the young mother and tried to pull the child away. one of them repeatedly yanked at the little boy. when onlookers expressed outrage, the officer took out a yellow stun gun and waved it at a crowd that included children. headley was eventually taken to jail.

( james ) in the south bay... two people are facing charges after a car crashed into a housting complex and ruptured a gas line...forcing 16 people out of their homes. it happened in the 1300 block of san tomas aquino road in san jose. investigators determined that 18-year old olivia paez and 28-year old brett oppido crashed the truck and then ran away. moments later, police says olivia called the police to report her truck was stolen. both were eventually arrested and booked for hit-and-run and giving a false police report. the 16 displaced people will be out of a home until a building inspector can deem the complex safe. ( james ) scary moments for a california woman who says she was attacked by a man with a machete in hemet.

she says on sunday he hit her car, leaving a dent. before that, she says the attacker popped up in the middle of the street in front of her, hiding the weapon behind him. she slowed down, not seeing his machete at first. that's when she says he hit the car as she stepped on the gas to get away from him. ( james ) police also received calls from other drivers reporting multiple attempted carjackings. officers later arrested 18-year-old jason peterson who was found with a concealed blade near the scene... as well as another man accused of throwing a brick at a car. it is unclear if those two men are responsible for the machete attack. ( darya ) pg&e says it is inspecting nearly 50-thousand transmission poles and towers in high fire-threat areas. the company says this is in addition to routine inspections and maintenance. crews are also using drones to capture aerial images to

( darya ) this morning we are hearing from a man who helped save several people from the deadly camp fire. shawn paul says he will never forget november 8th... the father of five spent the first part of that morning making sure his own children - and the students at the core butte charter school were evacuated safely. then he went and checked on the elderly at a now destroyed . and the group of seniors ended up at a church with about 100 other people because traffic was at a standstill. he says they were in the parking lot for about 8 hours until it was safe to leave. shawn says what he did was just a small part of so many courageous acts in butte county.

( james ) new video this morning shows the moments a california helicopter crew rescued a skier who fell more than 300 feet. it happened sunday afternoon on mount tallac. the el dorado county sheriff's office search and rescue responded to the call. however air support was needed because of the remote location of the accident. a c-h-p helicopter assisted.....and hoisted the man from the scene. he was later taken to a medical center in reno, nevada. right now there's no mes ) the break...why business owners are concerned that a nearby bread store will soon turn into a pot dispensary.
