( robin )police were on high alert last night... after a bomb threat caused a building on facebook's campus to be evacuated... police investigated the building and no suspicious packages or devices have been found. ( robin )police say, the call came in around 4:30 tuesday afternoon from n-y-p-d crime stoppers... alerting local police about a bomb threat at a facebook building on jefferson drive by chilco street....kron4's alecia reid has details on how local police responded to the threat

that bomb threat was for building 23 .... as soon as authorities got word, the entire campus was on lockdown. leaving no stone unturned ... the bomb squad, bomb sniffing dogs, and other agencies zoned in on facebook's menlo park campus tuesday night.the call came from nypd crime stoppers ... alerting officials, that they received an anonymous tip regarding a bomb threat. facebook's campus was evacuated...just before 5-30pm menlo park police issued an alert ... urging residents to avoid the 200 block of jefferson drive .... near constitution drive.officials shut down a number of streets ... as the bomb squad investigated ...this all comes 5 days after cnn's new york offices and studios were evacuated after a similar threat.that was also phoned in. there were allegedly as many as 5 bombs inside the building.however the bomb

( robin ) santa con: the san francisco holiday tradition has resulted in the arrests of two young women who's actions were caught on camera. police say, the two have now turned themselves in ... after video of people vandalizing a popular restaurant on saturday was shared all over social media. ( robin ) police say the two women turned themselves in after seeing themselves in cell phone video on local news broadcasts. natalie alcantar, a 21-year old san francisco resident was arrested for vandalism... and pacifica resident hannah baughman - also 21 - has been booked for vandalism áand battery. police say one woman - believed to be baughman based on the booking information - was inside the shalimar restaurant on polk streek near pine. they say she and an employee got into

an argument about paying for food - and she was eventually denied service because she seemed intoxicated. that's when she allegedly started knocking over items, like the cash register, and punched a man who was working there - in the face. video also shows a glass sugar jar being thrown. police say the other woman grabbed a chair outside the restaurant... then used it to shatter the front door. both suspects then took off. the man who was punched is okay. police have not released mug shots but are asking anyone with any other informaton or video to contact them. ( robin ) the homelessness crisis in the bay area is worse than many think .... that's according to a new study published by zillow. the report says, there are thousands more people without a home, than the official count by the u.s. department of housing and urban development. kron 4's gabe slate spoke with a homeless center serving people in contra costa county. according a new study released by zillow, there were an

news ( robin ) plans to add a toll on treasure island .... are on hold... for now. the governing board of the san francisco transportation authority delayed its vote on a new toll policy, transit pass and affordability program. saying, the board was seeking more time to flush out the details. business owners and residents fear the toll will have a negative economic residents away.

( robin ) santa clara county has long been struggling with a lack of beds and services .. for patrons of county- run health care facilities. but now, as kron four's rob fladeboe tells us, relief is on the way amid the purchase of three struggling private hospitals. the financially struggling o'connor hospital is no longer on life support. by purchasing o'connor hospital and two other fiscally unsound hospitals, oynd de paul health

center in morgan hill, santa clara county will have solved it's over-crowding problems at the county-run valley medical s county executive "...our patient population is under served because there is not adequate access for them so we really need to make sure these two hospitals stay open and provide access to everyone who needs it..."as part of a bankruptcy reorganization, owner verity health systems accepted the county's lone $235 million dollar bid. aquiring the three facilities will add some 456 beds, doubling capacity county wide. and it means south county residents, fearful of losing their hospitals, will instead see expanded services. jeff smith/santa clara county executive "....we're basically going to run them as two community hospitals. patients wont see much of a difference but behind the scenes we will have a

welcome back to the kron four morning news. i'm tracking your entertainment headlines today... a certain super-hero movie is poised to make history this award season. david daniel has that and more in today's hollywood minute. (nat-music) "the world is changing." (nat-explosion) "black panther" is racking up the honors, on its way to the oscar nominations. the marvel movie earned a trio of trophies from the african american film critics association, including best film. john david washington earned best actor for "black klansman," which also received best screenplay honors.

russell hornsby and amandla stenberg from "the hate you give" were named best supporting actor and best breakout performance, respectively... regina hall was best actress for "support the girls"... and regina king, best supporting actress for "if beale street could talk," which also was named best independent film.(nat)"black panther" was a big part of a big year for disney: the studio has topped seven- billion dollars at the worldwide box office for the year... with three weeks until new year's eve! "panther" contributed one-and-a-third billion dollars to that total... "avengers: infinity war" led the way with two- billion dollars... and "incredibles two" kicked in one-and-a-quarter billion. disney also reached the seven- billion mark in 20-16... something no other studio has ever done.(nat-music)"great bear rainforest" has added an appropriate voice! ryan reynolds has signed on to narrate the latest macgillivray freeman i-max film. reynolds is canadian, and the movie is set in a
