murder, fremont police would eventually discover that moore and sarkar were engaged in a sexual relationship and that in 2016 and 2017, sarkar changed life insurance policies on himself to list moore as the beneficiary. investigators also learned that moore and salvant, who has a criminal history, had been communicating through calls, texts, and private messages in the weeks prior to the murder. according to police, moore had payed salvant a 500 dollar advance to murder sarkar.following her lover's death, moore attempted to file a claim for the insurance money and police believe she had promised salvant a share of the payout. although, police do not have any direct proof that salvant murdered dominic sarkar they believe the overwhelming evidence they do have was enough to press charges.sotin a lot of cases your able to get a finger print or dna or a witnesses but in this case it was just the enormity of the evidence where we could move it to the place where we could charge it.finally, investigators say they may still need to do some follow up work on the case but at this pointthe do not beleive anyone else was involved in the murder for hire plot.in fremont, charles clifford, kron 4 news.
