mess. how come the rest of the country can fly in a blizzard but we can't handle rain, wind or fog.. in fog city? sfo looks fine right now but we had 3 and a half hour delays during the storm this week.. and if you travel a lot.. you know that's nothing new.. but i do have some new nubmers:sfo ranks 29th out of 30 major airports in on-time arrivals and we're 27th worst for
9:51 am
departures. and if you want to know why.. sfo has a map for that: this shows the runway configuration: two sets of parallel runways, too close together that cross in the middle.. complicated but it works like clockwork in clear, calm, dry weather.. which means "never".. as soon as mother nature sneezes they have to stagger then planes.. so if you wanna get there on time..do what i do.. whenever you can try to fly out of oakland or san jose.. and pack light.. checking bags costs you more and slows you down on the other end. sonny gray could be catching a flight back to the bay area.san francisco is showing interest in the a's old ace. he gave oakland five good seasons but he hasn't done well in the bronx. the giants sure could use another top notch starting pitcher... since madbum, cueto and samardzila have all had

serious injuries the last couple of years. well the giants could use a lot of things. the warriors should have a fog machine tonight in l-a.. so the boogieman can make a dramatic entrance. i've always wanted a fog machine.. and walk up music.. or maybe one of those banners you break through.. anyway, we'll see how he gels with the guys tonight when they play the clippers. but wow, he looks good on paper. you know what else looks good but might be trouble? the 10 year challenge.. steph and ayesha are doing it.. as are millions of post a picture years ago compared to today so we why don't we look that good? security the more data you share the more of a target you become.
