( james ) water managers across the

region are monitoring reservoir levels and the rivers and creeks that feed into them. in morgan hill -- crews at anderson reservoir are releasing water from the dam to make room for more. water has been pouring out of the pipe at the base of the dam for the past week. about 179-thousand gallons per minute is flowing into coyote creek and making it's way downstream, through san jose and out to the bay. ( james ) the santa clara valley water district says the goal is to keep the water level at the reservoir at less than 58 percent to meet those seismic restrictions. ( james ) firefighters in san jose rescued a man stranded in a creek...you're looking at pictures from the scene. firefighters say they found clinging to a log

in the creek this morning.. the man was in coyote creek near gass-mann drive in south san jose near tully road. the department wrote on twitter that the man was rescued from the water and was being evaluated by paramedics. ( darya ) two men from oakland are accused of breaking into utility trucks in san mateo. this happened near second avenue and south bayshore. police saying they were patrolling the area after several reports of burglaries. that's when officers noticed a car... caught on surveillance video... that they believe may have been involved in the burglaries. officers then found stolen property and burglary tools inside the car...and then arrest the two suspects. ( darya ) benicia police say vandals damaged more than 3-dozen cars early tuesday morning. some residents spent yesterday cleaning up broken glass and replacing shattered windows on their vehicles.... the vehicles were parked on west m street, west 3rd street and east o street. officers say some items were taken from the

vehicles but a lot of the property was found on the street. a total of 36 cars were vandalized. ( darya ) investigators says at this point they are not sure if the vandals are locals or from out of town. ( darya ) mammoth mountian plans to be open until at least july 4th...that's thaks to the massive snow accumulaton. mammoth is currently sitting under 210 inches... the most in the country. 15 feet fell country. 15 feet fell this month alone, adding to the season's total of 446 inches so far. of
