yesterday long cruise road and oak spring circle, north of gilroy it's grown so far to 1500 acres it's only 15% contained. the park fire on the right there making much more progress with that one is burning near morgan hill. sir had 340 acres so far but 70% contained at this hour all the evacuations lifted at morgan hill but evacuations remain in place and gilroy so let's go there now kron four's will tran standing by with the latest well it looks smoky behind you. >>yes, it's gotten smoke here since the last time you see me even though they've knocked down the flames, this is kenyada road and this is one of the locations where they had to evacuate people yesterday because the fire was racing through this area. breathing is quite difficult at this time fortunately it is not windy. let me quickly step out and show you the terrain you can see that firefighter. often the distance right there just keeping a close eye on

the situation. look at how more importantly daria yellow the grass is it is dry ready to go up in flames which is why we have seen firefighters all up and down kenyada road just to make sure that they are ready to pounce on any fire that happens to move along this ridge year. let me show you video that we got when we first arrived here about an hour ago you can see in the video along the ridge area near some homes that the fire was still burning quite actively at this time they focused their attention on that area we didn't see any fire drops at that particular time but in my there might have some crews nearby where they are able to spray some water on to that location and knock down the flames so those flames are gone, but the damage already down when the fire started yesterday afternoon. they evacuated people and that's great nobody that we are hearing has died or has had any major injuries but 2 structures did go up in

the briefing at 7 o'clock in the morning because the this is an area that it's not residential like santa rosa fortunately, but they did have to do evacuations in this area yesterday. even though they did evacuations 2 homes did go up in flames and hopefully not anymore. but there are homes dorian james there are still threatening at this time as the fire continues to march along this area of kenya on a road. we're not hearing of any injuries or any fatalities yet hopefully that will continue. but it looks like it's going to be days before this fire is completely contained right now 15% containment we should get an update in the next hour or so from cal fire and keep in mind containment does not mean out containment means that you corral that word doesn't spread and spreading that's exactly what it's been doing over the past say 12 to 14 hours because look at this on the right side of your screen. you can see what it did to this hillside here it's charred. it's not small during
