like they may have been successful in that we were up to about 30 or so minutes. now we're at about 24. so we are going back down there on the bay bridge. no issues on the san mateo bridge headed across towards the peninsula a little under 14 richmond center fell bridge a little under 14 as well. we'll have more traffic coming up with daryn james, back to you. thanks a lot a 7. '03. let's get to the breaking news overnight which were 3 separate incidences where. >> cars were taken carjacked with children inside and now should tell you right off the bat. all the kids are safe and sound. none of the children were hurt. >> but pretty dramatic to hear that. you have 3 separate answers from auburn up near sacramento all the way here to the east bay in the bay so we had to situations in pittsburgh in concord. again, the kids are okay. but how scary all these unrelated just all happened yesterday. let's go to kron 4 sarah stinson. she's following the ones that happened here in the bay area. >> now it's truly unbelievable we have confirmed another baby in a car stolen right parents

eyes one happening in concord. take a look at these emotional moments. a mother reunited with her baby holding her for dear life. the 4 month-old baby was in the car last night at 10 '03, when someone jumped in, took off with the baby still inside the parent just stepped out of the car for a moment before they knew it. the car and baby were gone. police say it was a terrifying call to get that. thankfully. they found the baby 20 minutes later. no one has been arrested yet. police will be looking at surveillance video in the area this morning. concord police say they cannot believe there are 2 car stolen with 2 babies inside. just one night. this happens in the bay area. the other incident happened in pittsburgh where this morning a father and a baby girl are reunited meanwhile, police are looking for the woman who stole this suv with the daughter in the backseat. this video of the moments after police finally found the suv in that one year-old girl. you can see police there right there. they

said a woman jumped into the father's suv and drove away with his daughter. the baby's father was outside of his car at the time talking to someone. and then before he knew it and the engine was running. but before you knew it there gone. an amber alert was issued. police got to work. they finally found that suv after the woman abandoned it with the baby inside just after 7.30 last night in the only reason they found it near some apartments in the parking lot because people actually heard the baby screaming. >> the neighbor had called me and i called her back. she told me that it was weird. they pulled up in the car was blocking here. they were blocking the driveway and was just sitting here and they said it was weird because they heard the baby screaming crying, screaming crying and then they looked in their last. the life of a missing near the door was open and they got the baby. is is scares me because i >> i mean, question one had to pick up the challenge. this is crazy. this is crazy. this is insane.

>> little did she know there is multiple incidents like this happening around the bay area in california. the suspected car thief is described as a white woman with a tattoo on the left side of their face. she's in her 30's and she has not been found yet conquered police. they're still working to figure out who their suspected car thief is and they're going to be working with with pittsburgh police because they have to ask are the 2 connected. they have to cancel that out right away. see what happened in both departments are looking at surveillance video in the area were hoping to get our hands on it, too so that we can help police the system with this investigation for now live in the newsroom. sarah stinson, back to you. are there any like anything similar about the situations are descriptions in the to the concord in the pittsburgh. well, at my first question was it will cover police's your suspect is a have a face tattoo. so distinct, right. he said i'm for sure. i don't know the description suspect right now we're waiting like on a legitimate press release

soon so stay tuned. we're really hoping to get that because i know world just like on the edge of our seats. wondering how this happened. who is responsible. all right. >> thank you, sarah. and then as we mentioned, there was that a 3rd one that happened up in auburn. a 7 month-old was taken in that case and again, trial is fine and it's such a you know, small mountain town kind place. and this is the child care center where the parent was dropping off. >> their child when 2 women jumped into the car, took off with the baby inside led police on a chase. so they're going down highway one 93 and then look at that. the car crashed into a to a utility pole. and this was scary because you don't forget. so you get this baby inside baby was fine. luckily they did arrest one of the women there at the scene, but the other took off on foot into the woods. and that's what you're seeing here. the video from the helicopter above with its night vision camera on. >> it was about a half hour later. they finally caught up with that second woman and she's also now under arrest.

well, happening today, the oakland chinatown chamber of commerce is going to be announcing what we expect will be a reward for any information in the search for a shooter out that 23 month-old baby that was struck by stray bullet on interstate 80. the reward is expected to be about $10,000. the incident happened last saturday we told you about the story of jasper. wu. he was writing in a car when he was hit by the bullet. he later died at the oakland children hospital. the oakland chinatown chamber of commerce is expected to hold a news conference later this morning. and again, we will carry that for you when it happens. look to our 24 7 new streaming app kron on for that coverage. >> time now 7. be here. certainly before the students even before possibly even staff members arrive because they are dealing with it as well. he was a beloved member of sherman elementary. and you can see the candles burning in the overnight hours there. a lot of messages to andrew zemin and his family. >> look at that. >> beautiful picture of him there. >> but on the wall and also on the ground. there are a lot of people stopping by. >> writing messages of just condolences to the family and they're angry. and i'll tell you why. because look at how close this vigil is to his school that sherman elementary on wednesday shortly before 8 o'clock. he was so close to reaching safely to his school. he was actually in the cross walk at this time. at that time, i should say when 2 cars collided into each other. ricocheted and then hit him right in the cross walk to. the accident. so horrific. james and darya that he

couldn't even be rushed to the hospital. he died at the scene here. yesterday was veterans day. so the kids were not inside the classrooms. a lot of people did turn out on wednesday later on in the day and most certainly yesterday on thursday when they could come down here and put this vigil up. >> the investigate. the cause of the crash still under investigation. reportedly speed could have been a factor. this is franklin notorious for speeding down here. they don't know if those 2 cars were speeding. but if they were, they could face charges. this san francisco, the traffic commission, the people behind all of this. they are looking to see if they can do something to slow down the drivers regardless if speeding was a factor in this accident because they know that historically in the past there have been accidents because of speeding. in fact, james and darya zeman's death at 30 years old. it's the 12th pedestrian accident in san francisco. and look at this site. this is a sign that some

drivers might be able to peek over when they're driving down. and this as a driver killed our neighbor here. 2 days ago. back to you. thank you very much. well. >> 7.10 right now and 5 people were hurt during a protest at the golden gate bridge. and this is the moment when it happened. there was a car that smashed into a street street sweeper. it look at the bottom right. your screen. you can see all the protesters behind that point of the accident. well, 2 of the victims were hit were police officers and they were injured, not life threatening. and then the other 3 victims were golden gate bridge district employees. also just minor injuries, which is a good thing. take a look at earlier when the protests started at the welcome center of the bridge and at one point the protesters to try to cross the bridge. but authorities would not let them there were hundreds of people there protesting what they consider to be mandates and government

>> good day to get outside and going into the weekend, yeah, really has yesterday was much of the same. if you liked yesterday, you're going to love today. outside in most of our live camera shots around the bay area. we're seeing of the sunshine already a shining bright and mostly clear skies depending upon where lou look at this. a nice clear shot at sfo and we're going to just more clearing as we get into of the afternoon hours a little bit of patchy fog along the coast. but all of that is set to dissipate said near the noontime hour temperatures right now. 40's and 50's they're starting to gradually move. we're at 52 degrees and hayward 56 in berkeley. nevado currently coming in at 50

degrees. all these temperatures, though, are going to replaced by some warm ones mostly in the 70's and it's all thanks to the high pressure, the sunshine. above seasonal average temperatures that said this pressure is going to be sticking with us through the next couple of days and it's going to be a gorgeous weekend in store and and no rain in the forecast. all of that's going steer clear of the bay area and remain to the far north of us all the way through the weekend. so if you have outdoor plans or you don't yet definitely want to make some because it's going to be just a beautiful weekend to a head outside and enjoy all that sunshine. so the temperature break down today. this is what it looks like. a quick peek at your highs a little bit actually higher by a degree or 2 and a lot of spots versus yesterday like in downtown san jose. we're expecting a high of 76 74 along the east bay shoreline throughout hayward into fremont 72 for the high in downtown oakland. you're going to be heading in towards a san francisco expect 70 degrees under mostly sunny skies and again expected

through the rest of the weekend. inland temperatures in the low to mid 70's around the bay low 70's and then we're looking at coastal temperatures mainly in the low to mid even upper 60's by sunday for back and thanks for that. all right. so we've got an accident. this is in mountain view. >> north now want to one in south dallas street. we've got one lane there that's currently blocked. so we are starting to see slight delays along one. oh, one looks like it's spilling over along to 37 as well. we checking the conditions on the bay bridge. looks like they were able to get that disabled vehicle and that person who was walking near the center anchorage of the bridge. maybe they had a stalled out car. they were trying to get help looks like all of that has been taking care of. so drive times are going down. we were at over 30 now at about 24 to make it to that fremont street exit heading across towards the peninsula under 60 minutes. today is your day today. then yesterday for sure richmond center fell as you're heading out of richmond, a little under 17 minutes and highway 4

12 east of 84 in rio vista. so we're watching that closely. but another accident here in mountain view northbound one. oh, one south of ellis street. so we are seeing delays along one a one and 2.37 as well heading into the city right now. look back to 20 minutes and under earlier we were at 30 minutes, we had a disabled vehicle. so i got out of their vehicle on the bay bridge. so they've been able to get that off the bridge, the vehicle and that person safely off. looks like so now drive times are starting to go back down just a bit. 60 minutes as you head across towards the peninsula. there and the richmond, sandra fell commutes also slowing down a little under 19 as you travel out of richmond darya james, back to you. thank you, greg. >> so breaking news from overnight we've learned about 3 now 3 incidents involving a child that was abducted in a car that was carjacked. all of them here in northern california. all 3 kids are safe. want to get front and center nobody hurt well, it wasn't a coincidence or were they connected at least the 2 of the bay area. we're close enough to one up in auburn.

terrifying call to get, but they found that baby 20 minutes later concord police say they can not believe there were 2 car stolen with babies inside in just one night in the bay area. the other happened in pittsburgh. the father and baby reunited right now and we can see video of the suv were talking about where the baby girl was in the back rooms. both were stolen the this morning the police are still looking for the woman who stole the suv with her baby inside. police say the woman jumped into the father's suv and drove away with his daughter after the woman was denied a cigarette. the baby's father was outside of the car at the time talking to someone but left the car engine running the amber alert was issued. police got tob work. and finally found the suv and the baby. the woman abandoned the car and the baby inside. it was happened around 7.30 when they found on a parking lot near some apartments in pittsburgh. the girl was found after people heard her screaming and crying the suspected car thief is

described as a white woman with blond hair in her 30's with a face tattoo on the left side. she has not been found yet. so concord. police working alongside pittsburgh police on a very similar case. of course, they have to investigate are the 2 connected. and we know what the description is of the pittsburgh case. but concord police right now they're going around to the area of where this happened, getting surveillance video trying to get us the latest and hopefully we can share that with you this morning. for now live in the newsroom. sarah stinson back to. so right now we're just wondering if they're connected because of the proximity right contacts for timing. maybe a couple hours apart. yeah. i mean, just a couple hours apart. it just in this doesn't happen every day. so of course they have to look into it. >> is it likely hopefully not. but you have to investigate it. all right, lou, it. all right. thank you very much there. and then there's the other one that coat definitely was a coincidence, but because it was far away in auburn and they caught the 2 women involved in this one. they

took a so a car with a 7 month-old baby inside. yeah. in auburn because the parents are dropping off at child care. yeah. >> and that's when the 2 women jumped in the car drove off and again, that baby in the backseat. but like with the other instance, the baby's just 5. but these women led police on a chase down highway one 93. they ended up crashing into a utility pole. that's the scariest part. and you can kind of see how the roads are and there's the crash scene. luckily, again, the baby not heard one woman was arrested right away. the other one that took off on foot and that's when they had to bring in the helicopter. and here you can see the night vision video about half hour later, they finally caught up with her in the woods and arrested just amazing that that baby was unhurt with the crash and that's we're so fortunate about the end of that story. >> all right. 7.35 is the time right now. to people running for mayor of oakland are weighing in on the gun violence, the city we told you yesterday right here on the kron 00:00am morning news about 3 different shootings that took place in oakland in just a 12 hour period and now 2 mayoral candidates have

their idea of how to curb gun violence. >> it is important that we have a law enforcement presence to hold the line while we are also investing to address the root causes that lead to the public safety challenges we face. i have fought for better public safety. >> we fought for historic investments in violence. prevention is always important that if we can prevent this from happening before it happens. that is what we should do. >> so far as of today, the city of oakland has had a 119 homicides this year. >> to the east bay now where richmond mayor tom is accusing fellow city council members of plotting a coup. this comes a day after the council voted to condemn him for comments he made recently about the richmond city manager. the issue all stems from the mayor's newsletters which he posts regularly on his website and on several occasions the mayor was disparaging toward the job performance of the city manager laura and also to

the city attorney teresa stricker tuesday. the council voted to direct the city attorney to censor the mayor for improperly disclosing attorney client information. well, the mayor responded and here's a portion of what he had to say. it says, quote, as a city council member and mayor. i have a duty to be critical if warranted of the city manager and let her know when and how her actions fall below what i believe the community expects. the city attorney's we know is already resigned is expected to leave office in january. in the south bay san jose police have arrested a man who's accused of committing crimes while acting as a spiritual healer. 42 year-old, jorge never ready is accused of crimes, including the rape of a child under the age of 15 police say it happened between october of last year and august of this year. it's unclear right now where he was serving as a spiritual healer or if there are more victims out there. but all that is now being investigated. >> for your help this morning. the cdc says don't forget
