entire 40 acre site to be cleared as per the faa ultimatum in san jose. rob fladeboe kron 4 news. >> and coming up at 6.45, we're going to have a full report on how the city of modesto is trying to get more people off the streets and into homes with a new pilot program. a family in walnut creek want some answers because their home has been vandalized several times. here are pictures of the vandalism that happened last week. somebody threw toilet paper eggs and even wrap the bushes with saran wrap. the homeowners thought it was just a prank. but then the home was hit a 3rd time with a homophobic slur written in front of the house. >> they rode out. >> some pretty offensive messages using the tp on street side. but there was more tp. there was. >> they took it to next step in the sense that >> they started throwing random in our driveway.

>> the family has filed a report with the walnut creek. police department. meantime, police say they will be patrolling that neighborhood more often staying in the east bay oakland. police are looking for the robbers who stole a french bulldog at gunpoint. it happened friday night. the dog's owner says a friend was walking the dog named merlin near about these and 24th street. 2 men approached the woman and pointed a gun at her demanding that she hand over the dog. the men then took the dog into a car and sped away. french bulldogs have been a popular target for thieves because you can be sold for high prices. the dog's owner says the last few days have been very emotional. >> it's hard. i can't even. understand why someone would want to do this. i mean, even coming home not running to the door to greet me. or hearing him run around in the background really should be he should he should. he should have the i would just change right now. >> the dog's owner is offering a reward for merlin. he weighs

go. this what we're going to see play out to get these really weak system slow by of a sudden you see it on shore, breeze surge and high pressure starts to build in to get a little bit of an offshore wind. something to watch out for legacy that dense fog in the central valley. otherwise, you know, we're going to back that sunshine again across most the bay area again for tomorrow. overnight lows will be chilly in spots. so low 40's in the north bay mid 40's into the east bay. you've got a mixed bag of 40's and 50's around the bay and the coastline highs tomorrow running up to 60's in the san francisco and dry patchy fog along the coastline. should give way to some sunshine and mild temperatures there. 70 degrees in millbrae about 68 in brisbane. 7 degrees in palo out to the south bay enjoying plenty of 70's. by tomorrow afternoon. but on the hazy side, though, that's you see play out in the coming days to is that ridge overhead if we don't get up mixing enough of the sea breeze. you'll start to see a buildup. some of the pollutants down below high pressure going to bring mild temperatures to much of the north bay to even warm in the sun rose at 71 and the next few days. temperatures cool

program she got to spend thanksgiving in a home instead of a shelter. >> love it. it's very spacious. it's comfortable after escaping an abusive relationship and living in encampments in shelters. colleen mcbride is just happy to have her own room once again. now it's like everything is just perfect in my life. everything is just everything i could. all i can't even imagine. >> being where i'm at now. a year ago, bride credit to getting involved in modesto is downtown streets. team. >> and their camp to home program for turning her life around anybody can be and do what i've done if they want it bad enough and they've got the support system of the street team, just like the name suggests camp to home provides job training and housing to get people out of encampments in shelters like this one. into permanent housing and on the path to self-sufficiency everything kind of matched up the dogs, hit it off. >> we hit it off. it was just a perfect match 6 months ago. kathleen mooney has opened up her home and offered to rent

out a room as part of the program after her husband died last year. this home. >> it's a really nice place to be. but it's not good for one person camp to home screens each participant matches them with an appropriate landlord and a couple of months looking for a person that would be a good fit for me. i think they succeeded with the help of cares act funding the city pays a portion of the rent to landlords like munoz with the goal that tenants would become full the responsible for payments over time. now i'm paying 75% of the rent. >> and they're paying the 25 and within another 6 months i should be paying the full amount isn't about the money. >> it's you know, this helping people to make these steps for mcbride and munoz will be can is an arrangement. has transformed into a friendship spent thanksgiving at some friends of hers. i think it has become more of a friendship in modesto. kristi gross.

rainfall totals where we stand so far. we've had over 8 almost 8 and a half inches of rain in san francisco. so even though things have dried out. we're still talking 231% of normal san jose over 2 inches of rain, a 186 or one of 100. 23 1% of normal in oakland over 6 inches of rain. you're still looking at 219% of normalcy. you get the idea even though we have that rain early on things kind of shut off or still ahead of the game. we've got a long way to go. still headed toward the heart of the rainy season. december january february, rainiest months of the year. other. right now. we have seen a change in the weather pattern. more of an onshore breeze kicking in. and that has brought with some low clouds and some fog. the jet stream still well to the north. we've got one little swirl off the coastline. that's kind of an area of low pressure that's sitting out there. but that's not going to factor into our weather very much. in fact, for the most part, that kind of just fades away. high-pressure just takes over again, we're talking about some more nice hazy, sunshine and warm weather with those offshore winds continuing again for tomorrow.
