funding to continue these programs. but so far those pleas have gone unanswered. the white house requested 22.5 billion dollars in covid funds earlier this month. happening today, we can learn of teachers in the mount diablo unified school district plan to go on strike this afternoon. the teachers union is expected to announce the results of the vote whether to authorize a strike. the union has been negotiating with the district over a new contract for more than a year. if the union did vote to authorize a strike, it is not clear when that strike would actually happen. teachers in san francisco are continuing their sleep into demand paychecks from the school district 100 say they have not been paid in months or they've been paid incorrectly. the school district says the issue started when they switch to a new payroll system recently, the district says they agree with teachers and the unions that these teachers need to be paid and that they're working quickly to resolve the issue. teachers we spoke to at the sleep inn say there living

now, skies today do dry out. that's going to help our temperatures to feel a little bit nicer because we've got a lot of sunshine overhead and then much calmer winds. so those 60's and 70's going to be feeling really good. we do have a weak system that's going to try to pass overhead tomorrow and in the process going to try to give us some rainfall. but yeah, as i mentioned the system just a little too weak, losing its steam by the time it reaches the bay. a couple of sprinkles up in mendocino county. but that's all we really got for your thursday friday. a nice and dry want to start the weekend before saturday. your last day of winter. a cool down is another cold front slides through and even more rainfall just around the corner for that one. so really looking forward to that saturday, rain, potential don't played a whole lot of outdoor activities on saturday. maybe move those to this afternoon if you can on a wednesday because it's going to really nice day. lots of sunshine, some 60's, some 70's for your daytime highs, calmer winds. all of it does add up to a really nice field as you're stepping outside this
