it. traffic moving well on interstate 80 and we start in solano county, the traffic in vacaville, fairfield and vallejo looking good. looking good to the maccarthur maze and the bay bridge with traffic continuing to be very light into san francisco. looking at the south bay commute traffic looks good. the golden gate bridge has traffic moving well without the fog being a major issue on the span. 4:31 am. breaking news in contra costa county, two more fires, one on the highland way in the other on hollow brook court. we just spoke with the east contra costa fire protection district and they said it is too early to tell whether these incidents are connected.

saturday in fremont turned violent at the royal palace banquet hall 700 invited guest but it quickly turned violent with 70 people fighting outside. this video was given to ktvu showing several people kicking and punching each other around midnight on saturday. the wedding photographer estimated the fight lasted 20 minutes before the people heard the police sirens and began to scatter. >> i've been doing this for 15 years and i have never seen something like that. it was chaos. >> the fremont police say that a man from missouri was arrested on charges of battery. the bride said she is upset with the venue for only having two security guards even though they were charged for seven. they are still investigating what happened and say will take time to interview all of the witnesses. it is 4:36 am. the police and cost

accounting are looking for help to find the hit-and-run driver that injured a six-year-old boy at the city of oakley at o'hare avenue and just before 5:00 last night. witnesses told the police that the child was crossing the street in the crosswalk and two cars had stopped for him. there was a white pickup truck that passed and those cars that were stopped and hit the child in the leg. the driver of the truck drove away running a red light. witnesses say the pickup truck appeared to be a ford ranger carrying a heavy load in the back. the child was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery. if you recognize this truck or have any information call the oakley police. 60 suspected gang members were arrested in a major crime operation. authorities showed off the weapons that were seized in merced county and the operation involved over 500 officers from federal, state and local law

enforcement agencies. they targeted the mexican street gang and they had decided to rain on the parade of the gang. they confiscated $170,000 in cash, seizing cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines with a street value of $1.7 million. in-n-out burger investigating a possible foodborne virus and several people reported feeling sick after eating at the livermore in-n-out burger . the restaurant was closed out of the abundance of caution, and the in-n-out burger president of operation confirm that nine customers complained of flulike symptoms. the staff at the livermore location has been screened, the restaurant thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and back open today . the people that live in santa clara county can expect to pay more for the water. the santa clara water district

approved the $500 million budget for the fiscal year calling for two rate hikes to pay for the water projects. 9.6 increase for most users and 6.4 for part of the county south of san jose. the larger increase is equal to about $3.55 every month per household. the warriors are encouraging their fans to show support for the team by flying the car flag on the vehicles tomorrow. starting today the fans can get the free warriors car flag available at the warriors team stores at the oracle arena, main street and downtown walnut creek as well. they will be given away in burlingame and san mateo. later this morning jim barnett will join us in the studio to talk about the conference finals.

welcome back. the novato council says they will not spend more money on that smart train ending up in a tie to spend the one point $3 million to finish the project -- $1.3 million project. supporters of the plan say the city has already invested millions of dollars and that it would be a waste of time and money to end up with just part of the train station. the sonoma marin area rail transit authority has paid for two stations in novato and said they would schedule gasia third station if the city would pay for it. the city of fremont is offering red light violators rebate and said that it inadvertently reduce the length of the yellow lights at two major intersections.

we spoke with the city officials that said over 500 drivers are now eligible for the refund. >> reporter: the city of fremont is known for the red light traffic cameras installed at every major commuter route. the price for running the red light is not cheap. >> i did not realize my picture was taken but a month later we got a letter with the picture. i was shocked, $385. >> reporter: the ticket is now $490. sunny lives near the corridor seeing people running this light all the time. >> they don't realize there is a terminal here. >> reporter: the city of fremont is recognizing that some of the issue tickets may have been unfair. >> it is a challenging issue without a perfect solution. >> reporter: the director of public works that from february to october the yellow time at the intersections were shortened from 4.7 seconds and now four seconds to help

not seeing much change for warming up. not a lot of rain here but there is on the north coast and more up in the sierra over the next 5 to 7 days. these low clouds bringing in drizzle and the best opportunity for precipitation is north of santa rosa, not a lot. the delta breeze was flying yesterday but okay today with wind gusting up to 25 in vacaville and fairfield. 50s on the temperatures in a few 40s, livermore at 52, santa rosa 50. a cold day yesterday for much of sonoma county. 51 for santa clara and saratoga which is cooler than boulder creek, and you don't see that often. santa cruz at 54, gilroy at 53. 32 in truckee, 51 and ukiah, cool and a little bit of rain. i've seen a couple of inches of rain forecasted or eureka and

northward over the next 5 to 7 days. unseasonably strong system that is moving in replacing this one low down in southern california and arizona. that is the kicker and it bums it along and picks up whatever is ahead of it. this is a cold and chilly pattern for this time of the year with a cooler powdered into the weekend, cloudy to mostly cloudy with partly sunny for some. the drizzle is possible, breezy. 50s and 60s. we had a full moon yesterday but still possible for some people to see. i think we have a lot of cloud cover, the cool and breezy pattern taking us into next wednesday. there it is, a shot of the moon. >> the natural light shining in the window when you're sleeping

point on a scale of 1000 point and the highest total since 2006. they cited lower airfares and better on-time performance, a decline in lost luggage for the increase in satisfaction. overall southwest airlines rated the highest for the discount and traditional airlines when it comes to passenger satisfaction. jetblue coming in second, alaska airlines, delta and america and following. the palo alto company accepting a $1000 deposit a plan and start installations next month and tesla showing off the solar roof tiles which cost about $30,000 for the average size house. take a look at that and most say you only need 40% of the roof covered.

pg&e learned a tragic lesson we can never forget. this gas pipeline ruptured in san bruno. the explosion and fire killed eight people. pg&e was convicted of six felony charges including five violations of the u.s. pipeline safety act and obstructing an ntsb investigation. pg&e was fined, placed under an outside monitor, given five years of probation, and required to perform 10,000 hours of community service. we are deeply sorry. we failed our customers in san bruno. while an apology alone will never be enough, actions can make pg&e safer. and that's why we've replaced hundreds of miles of gas pipeline, adopted new leak detection technology that is one-thousand times more sensitive, and built a state-of-the-art gas operations center. we can never forget what happened in san bruno.
