good morning to you. morning clouds, evening clouds, mild afternoons. for most, is going be great. it will be a little cool on the coast for the fireworks show tonight, san francisco and berkeley at risk of having low clouds and fog. first things first, the numbers outside right now under partly cloudy, partly sunny conditions, san francisco 54 degrees, santa rosa 56, low 60s in oakland, livermore and san jose haven't changed a whole lot . the winds are onshore and will remain on shore along the coastline. some of the cloud cover there along the coast has works its way across the bay. let's look at areas, partly cloudy skies run santa rosa towards napa, vallejo, i-80, that stretch between vallejo and fairfield, you can find cloud cover, to the east bay, we have the shore covered through richmond through

fremont. and over towards the east bay, 586 at the interchange, we have cloud cover, pleasanton looks like there's a little cloud cover and it is just south of san ramon. the wins on short fairfield, southerly please, will keep the onshore breeze so at the coastline, expect cloudy skies any cool sea breeze for the entire afternoon which will keep temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s for our west facing beaches. santa cruz is expected to hit 70 degrees . it is still very mild out there. for our communities inland, 70s in the forecast, as we get into the second part of the day, to upper 80s with some of our warmer locations. here's a look at the region, 87 degrees is the afternoon high and the south bay, 87. 70s around the bay 6in6 in san francisco, northbay locations,

81 napa. details on this coming up in the extended forecast. thank you. we continue to follow breaking news in the east bay. dublin police were at the scene of a crisis killed two people. happened just before 1:45 am near fallon road. please tell us a car hit a light pole in the center median. the driver and passenger both died. at this point, fallon road is still close to my direction. our time is 7:03 am. we look at the bay area bridges. we do expect light traffic most of the fourth of july. look at these live pictures. the bay bridge toll plaza absolutely, you can roll a bowling ball through their. that is like the san mateo bridge. we are watching that. but we will keep an eye on the san mateo bridge another bridges for you as well. on this fourth of july, thousands of people are already preparing to line the street

for pride. >> it is a great parade. people save their spot and they do guard them. they start the night before. we are in danville for the parade starts in a couple of hours. how's it going out there? >> reporter: it is a beautiful sunrise this morning here at danville. good morning. i can tell you you are right, they guard their spots. take a look of all of those chairs lined up on the sidewalk in downtown danville ready for the start of the sprayed when it kicks off at 9 am. the fourth of july parade here is really a tradition, the town of danville says 30 to 40,000 people attend every year. the parade will start right near san marone valley high school. it will go south ending at sycamore valley road. this parade has been on since 1975. we spoken to people who are having an early breakfast saying they're getting ready

and prepared, they did not come out last night, they came out early this morning. >> i set this up as early as i could get here, this is at 4:15 am. i set up my chairs and at 6 am, the maintenance guy came and swept the streets. the street is barricaded and we have are set up. >> reporter: will come out here this morning. there will be several road closures in this area. we have seen parking that is limited. we saw a car that was getting towed from a no parking zone area. be careful. if you cannot make it out here today, there are plenty of other parades in the bay area including vallejo, piedmont, redwood city, alameda, sausalito, fremont and san jose. if you're able to come out, we would love to say hi. we'll be here through the morning. the parade starts at 9 am. get here early, it will be packed.

have fun. look for christina out there. the time is 7:05 am, one of the bay areas most popular fourth of july tradition is fireworks in san francisco. the show begins at 9:30 pm, but they've been getting ready for days. hundreds of thousands of people normally watch this 25 minute show. we talked to people who are excited about tonight fireworks and celebrating america's birthday makes him proud. >> i'm a veteran. i was in the army. i am patriotic. i like the flag and i enjoy the fireworks. >> reporter: this is celebrate the whole united states? >> this is important to me.

>> reporter: the fireworks are lunch from barges out in the bay. if there's not a whole lot of fog, you can see them from several places around the city and across the bay. two of the best viewing spots are san francisco's aquatic park and pier 39. there is an awful lot of construction on the island. many roads are closed and there isn't any parking. choose somewhere other than treasure island. you can find a list of areas for fireworks and festivities. he posted a list events covering more than 20 communities at ktvu.com . new information about a man accused of several robberies in the northbay. please release this sketch, one of the suspects accused of robbing two women and a teenaged girl in separate incidents last week. investigators say the man had a handgun. they stole cell phones and wallets from the women friday afternoon near seventh street and marion avenue. two days earlier, the man stole a cell phone from a teenager.

here's another look at that police sketch. the two crimes may be connected and they want to know if you have surveillance video from people living in those neighborhoods that may show the suspect, getting contact with the police. a roar for information and a armored truck robbery is a $35,000. two men armed with assault rifles robbed the loomis armored car outside of a wells fargo bank. it happened last thursday at the foothills square shopping center. san jose police arrested a man who robbed at anyone-year-old woman. investigators say the suspect was in north san jose monday morning. she was slightly hurt in the robbery. the suspect is facing charges of robbery, elder abuse and kidnapping. the victims jewelry was recovered.

police in san bruno still out there searching for the shooters responsible for tuesday's terrifying gun battle inside the tanforan mall. now they are seeing mall surveillance video showing the shooting as it happened. disagree camera at the hemi -- cappy lemon drink stand recorded these images. you see a group of people running and one of them pulled out a gun and fires a shot at someone behind them. one of the shooting victims goes down. video also shows a second shooter across the way. people nearby run for cover as the shooting arrives. two boys wounded in the shooting, they're in serious condition. a 16-year-old was shot in the stomach, a 12-year-old was shot in the leg. investors say the boys were part of the two groups that were arguing with each other. the police say shooting was not random. they are still going through a large amount of evidence from the shooting scene. >> one subject from each group begins shooting at the other. to be clear, this appeared to be a random incident. both shooters fled the area

just prior to responding officers arriving at the second- floor location. >> reporter: police believe the shooters caught on video may have gone as far away as oakland. police found a pellet gun on the train but no real gun. a couple of all workers said the shooting shook them up but others say they still feel safe and there is nothing the police could have done to prevent it. military service members are being honored for helping victims of the tanforan shooting. the heroes receive certificates of commendation. they're working at the army recruiting office at the mall. >> all the training i had as a lifeguard and is in a mentee came together. i knew what i needed to do. >> reporter: what they did was save lives using the skills that they had in their courage.

than $7 million and we have been paid for that. >> reporter: the president and first lady will be joined by civilian and military leaders from the pentagon. plans to fly a baby trump balloon on the national mall in washington as a protest, they have been canceled by the national park service. the group says it first received a permit to fly its baby trump balloon during independence day festivities on the national mall. by the park service says its policy prohibits groups from using helium to fly blimps in no-fly zones and that includes downtown washington. this balloon mocked president trump. it will be stationed near the washington monument. protesters you want to impeach president trump say they will take their message to san francisco bay today. they plan to display a 20 foot inflatable peach with a large am on it on a boat taking off

from fishermans wharf and sailing around the bay. they are scheduling their protest crews to coincide with president trump's speech. >> it was an early and colorful start to the july 4 holiday in some places around the bay. fireworks lit up the night sky at the oakland coliseum in san rafael. the marin county fair is preparing for the holiday. it opens at 11 am. organizes a you'll see all of your favorite fair staples such as colorful rides, petting zoos and their marking the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. activities include a residual reality ride. think about it, will you ever go to space? will we ever go in a rocket? now, this is a way to virtually experience this. >> i did not expect this. it was great. this is a great experience.

how did you make it so smooth? if you're planning things, just know as you head out, it is a little cool in certain spots. rosemary has a forecast. we are looking at another mild day. temperatures will be slightly warmer starting off of the low clouds and fogs and a bit of an onshore breeze. that remains along the coastline for today with mostly cloudy skies. we do have a micro pattern that is set up. that will remain the case as we move through the fourth of july holiday. temperatures will be in the 60s at the coast, 70s on the bay, for inland cities, mid to upper 80s for our hotter spots. it will be another mild day around the bay. here's a look at the future cast. we have fog up and down the coastline. perhaps a little drizzle out there. it is in the east bay, widespread, especially over areas like dublin, pleasanton

perhaps and over towards the north, we have some around vallejo, napa reports fog. as we get into the afternoon, it will pull back by about lunch time. we are clear everywhere except for the coastline. our west facing beaches will remain under partly to mostly cloudy skies. the south facing beaches, they're likely to get afternoon sunshine but it will be very mild. mid 60s to low 70s at that area. here's a look at the evening, will call it late afternoon at 6 pm, we stuff mostly clear skies everywhere except for the coast where it never left. into the evening, we are thinking about fireworks. take a look at that, look at that cloud cover stretching across san francisco into the east bay. it will be a little iffy how much cloud cover moves in just in time for the fireworks.

>> reporter: lisa taylor says she no longer feels secure living on marlowe street next to the main florida university avenue. her neighborhood described as a quiet suburb with little to no crime. but what happened right outside her front door has shaken the community. >> it sounds like he was stalking her. he waited until it was just after dark and he attacked her. >> reporter: this doesn't happen very often. >> home surveillance video captured this man in the neighborhood on june 24 round nine p.m. the man. a car stopped at the intersection. he been driving on eastbound. for simone reason he got out with the car still running with the lights on. he walks to a dark area covered with trees. the cameras show what he did next. he ran up behind the female victim who was walking along

the sidewalk and then he ran up behind her and grabbed her breast, buttocks and groin area and then he ran back to his car and fled. >> reporter: the suspect described to be his static or upon a lesion to set 23 to 30 years old, medium height and build. in the video, you can see he has his distinctive walk. the cameras captured the suspects car believed to be eight 2006-2012 white audi, possibly an a4 or a six. >> last night my wife was sexually assaulted. >> reporter: neighbors told us they learned about the crime after the victims husband who they say was distraught went door-to-door the next day. he distributed flyers hoping to catch the perpetrator. >> it is pretty brazen to do something on university avenue while there are cars coming by. >> reporter: please controls have increased in everett after the attack.

commute for you and bring you information as it comes in. the time is 7:33 am. officials in santa rosa will hold a form monday night to talk about removing two homeless encampments in santa rosa. one is long prince memorial greenway, the other is on six street below highway 101. the city wants to get rid of these encampments but still give support to the people living there. after next week's public meeting, the city will notify the homeless they have to leave. the police will eventually move in and clear out those areas. the city of oakland is opening a fifth cabin community for the homeless. this latest cabin community will be home to about 70 people who have been living in a tent city on 35th avenue under the border. of the 250 people who have left cabin community so far, two thirds have moved off the streets, about the same number

one is the danville prayed, always a big parade, starts at 9 am but it is so popular, peoples set out their folding chairs long the paid road many hours in advance. some of them last night. the prayed in pleasant hills begins at 9:30 am. there are braids in redwood city, alameda, sausalito, fremont and in san jose, then at 11 am, there parades in vallejo and in piedmont. most of them and several other cities also will have picnics and concerts after the parades and throughout the day. a-mack more of us are on the water during the fourth of july holiday. it has reminders for people to go boating, have everyone on board wear a life jacket.

the council says 76% of all voting related deaths are drownings and 85% of all drowning victims are in recreational boating accidents were out wearing a life jacket. no one on board a boat should be drinking alcohol or using drugs especially the boats captain. your couple of reminders for boat owners want to see the fireworks. voters are being told to stay away from the barges. they are being told to not to launch or use fireworks aboard a vessel because they could be mistaken for a distressed sale. during this is a felony because a good distract from an actual emergency. was public transportation will be running on a holiday or reduce schedules. san francisco is running on a sunday schedule but it will run buses instead of cable cars after 2 pm. several lines are being rerouted near the best locations to watch fireworks. they're offering extra service

from caltrain, the fairies and the metro subway to the being areas, that begins at 3 pm. bart is using the sunday schedule which means the services and start until 8 am. but, regular scheduled trains will be longer and some extra trains will be added. the last northbound trains from the san francisco station leaves before 12:30 am. final southbound trains leave it 1 am tomorrow morning. and caltrain will operate on a sunday schedule all day. there already adding extra service after the san francisco firework show ends. special southbound trains will operate from san francisco to san jose making the usual stops. last train will leave the station after midnight or when it is full, whichever comes first.

oakland is $35,000. two mest men robbed an armored car outside of a wells fargo bank. this morning, december the police are searching for those responsible for that terrifying gunbattle inside the tanforan mall. they are now starting to see mall surveillance video here showing the shooting as it happened on tuesday afternoon. the security camera at the happy lemon drink stan recorded images of a group of people running onto the second floor. then one of them pulls out a gun and fires at someone behind him. one of the shooting victims goes down. the video also shows the second coming across the way, bystanders are running for cover when the gunfire erupted. two boys wanted in the shooting are in serious condition, the 60-year-old shot in the stomach and 12-year-old hit in the leg. the boys are part of two group starting with each other.

enforcement period runs from now until sunday night. the nice weather will mean big crowds at all the bay area parades. there are quite a few. we have the early starting times in the biggie in danville. the big parade steps off at 9 am. this parade is so popular that people set up their chairs along the route hours if not day in advance of the parade in pleasant hill. that begins at 9:30 am. there are a lot more the start at 10 am which include parades in redwood city, the city of alameda, sausalito, fremont and the rose, white and blue parade. at 11 am, the parades in vallejo and piedmont, most of them and several other cities hold picnics and concerts following the parades throughout the day. more boats are out on the water during the fourth of july . according to the national safe boating council. the council has reminders for people who are going boating this weekend.
