right now we are outside the trump headquarters... and there were dozens of people here earlier doing everything they can to make sure every republican is out voting tomorrow. we also stopped by the clinton headquarters... they told me their main focus isnt necessarily phone banking but face to face interactions... it's the final push.... to flip the silver state blue.... or red. we checked in with the trump and clinton campaigns.... on the final night before election day. ab- weve been walking phone banking people on corners rb- everirything were doing is voter contact its been an exciting day 100k person to person interactions talking to people on phones we expect to do that tomorrow going into tuesday's elections... both camps are mounting similar operations.. phone banking... knocking on doors... and putting
a trump supporter we spoke to and their headquarters told me that's what almost got him into a physical altercation... ed- ive been putting trump signs out... and an hour later theyre gone we stopped at trump headquarters near mccaran airpot to see how they were looking for their final day of campaigning. it was bustlign with people running in and out... there were dozens of people on the phones... even kids were making the plea for donald trump. nats- over at the clinton camp... it was a different environment. there weren't any kids pushing for the first female president... but there was one special guest. lb- i been knocking door and door i always thought it but everyone is so nice whether you're with her... or you want to make america great again... both camps are urging people to vote and both agree on one thing... the future of our country depends on it. b- do not waste your vote on one of the mpst corruct people to ever run for office clinton ever ever na- we have a clear difference in this

scheduled to close around seven or eight-- some were still open past ten... to accomodate the voters who had been waiting in line. clark county saw a record number of voters turn out for the last day-- 57-thousand people. some members of the g-o-p says the late hours allowed for certain voters to vote... saying it was rigged... but clark county registrar joe gloria says that's standard. "we've got a long history of following the same policy and in 2012 once again we had people who were waiting in line well past the normal closing period tt we processed and allowed to vote..." "...as long as voters show up on the last day of voting theres no limitation on our ability to process them to vote and so we stayed open until the last voters came through and thats in all areas of town" gloria says that will not be the case tomorrow... polls will open at 7 and will close at seven p-m sharp. some are concerned about their safety as they head to the polls tomorrow. police say they are ready... just in case anything gets out of hand. they have officers rotating around each of
locations in clark county. some people say they are worried not just about about tomorrow, but the days following...the election... and the potential of a protests or riots. police say they don't anticipate anthing out of the ordinary happening. "it feels like- i didn't even know like i had so much support in the students... like i had no idea" kyle will join 125 chosen seniors from across the country. musicians from liberty and clark high schools will also perform. the u.s. army american bowl at the alamodome in san antonio, texas on january seventh. unlv's school paper-- could soon be a thing of the past... unless students can raise 30 thousand dollars. a lack of funding--- may be the end of the rebel yell. fox5 vince sapienza spoke with the students who run the schools newspaper...they say removing this

"i don't how many internships would give you this kind of responsibility where you are running the behind the scenes of an actual publication and making crucial decisions for a publication." four years ago the newspaper stopped receiving from the student body government.. due to the fact that the student body government wanted to hand pick the editors... seen as a conflict of interest the two cut ties and the rebel yell has been looking for funding on its own ever since. "i just see it as a complete loss for our university without a student newspaper especially if we plan on becoming a top tier university." each year the newspaper applies for funding from the student life funding committee but each year they have received less and less. this year thy received just enough to find the first semester,

news... it was a violent weekend on the las vegas strip. in less than 24 hours... a stabbing... and a shooting in full view of tourists and locals just having a good time. so what's being done to protect our visitors. fox5's faith tanner joins us live ... after speaking to some tourists. the shooting happened on a pedestrian bridge that gets lots of foot traffic. tonight people we talked to who were walking around where shocked to hear about these nats cell phone video: "what did he say, somebody shot him. each of em? we only heard one gunshot" cell phone video shows the minutes after two men were shot on the las vegas strip around 2:30 this morning on this pedestrian bridge between the cosmopolitan and planet hollywood. sot from video: "is there anybody that saw a man that might have got shot" people walking
hear about it. sot : "omg i can't believe it. if i was here i don't know what i wouldv'e done" sot : "it's gonna kinda scare people away" police say the shooter... a 26 year old man got into a fight with 2 other men that may have been over drugs. we're told fired one shot at them- and they were both hit by the same bullet. the suspect ran into planet hollywood where police say they took him into minutes later. they were able to track him down thanks to a camera they have in the area. sot : "the las vegas strip that is the lifeblood of our entire state our department has very close ties with every police department up and down the strip, that's part of our strategy to provide a safe and secure environment to all the citizens that come to las vegas" the shooting happened less than 24 hours after a different incident- where police say a man was stabbed near the linq and then fell into a fountain at caesars palace early sunday
to tonight say these violent incidents won't ruin their fun on the strip but they will keep an eye on their surroundings. sot: "ridiculous because there's too many people around. they should have more security" we're told the shooting suspect and both victims are from las vegas. those victims are in stable condition and are expected to survive. we're still waiting to learn more about the victim and suspect involved in sunday's stabbing. police are asking for the public's help... finding the suspects wanted in a deadl weekend. take a look at these guys... police say the two men were caught on a neighbors security camera. police say the men entered the home near flamingo and jones saturday afternoon. gun shots were heard moments later. police believe it stemmed from a drug deal. take anim if you recognize either suspect... you are asked to call crimestoppers at 702-385-55-55. there are many options for voters wanting to have their voices heard... early voting...
