philando castile worked. he was shot and killed during a traffic stop in july. dan scheneman tells us - the officer who shot a handful of demonstrators gathered hours after learning the offcier who fatally shot philando castile will face charges. castile was killed facebook...sparked outrage. "please don't tell me he's dead." officer jeronimo yanez, who fired the fatal shots, now faces a second degree manslaughter charge and two counts of dangerously discharging a firearm. castile had a permit to carry a gun and warned the officer he was armed. officer yanez said he thought castile was reaching for the firearm. ramsey county's attorney said castile was calm and did what the officer told him to do. "it is my conclusion that the use of deadly force by officer yanez shootings this year, sparked protests...some of them violent.

continuing coverage this morning: bail denied for a man accused of killing a toddler. kyrian knox's body was found in a park lagoon in chicago last year. his mother left the two-year-old with kamel harris as she moved from cedar rapids to chicago. police believe the child was lactose intolerant and cried for an entire afternoon after having milk. investigators think harris snapped. they found the boy's blood in harris' car and arrested him. there's nothing he can do. there's no turning, e from it anymore. no more running, he can't run anymore. no more lies. man up and tell the truth. harris is not married to -- or dating -- the boy's mother. he's a friend of a friend. he's now charged with murder. funeral services are held for a woman killed in a crash. the crash happened this month on highway 57 near downtown cedar falls. cynthia brooks was killed.
