"eyewitness news" reporter justin finch joins us live with the latest on the search effort there, justin good morning. >> reporter: good morning, nicole, yes. later this morning here in manayunk search for shane montgomery is set to resume. we did speak exclusively to his cousin and roommate who tell us they are working with the fbi and police to help find shane. they also happened ton among last people to see him. seven days and still no sign of 21 year-old shane

montgomery, the west chester university senior still missing, after a night out in manayunk on the day before thanksgiving. his last stop, kildares irish pub. >> he was in a good mood. we hit a couple of bars. we weren't like he wasn't knee breaked or anything. >> reporter: his cousin tim whitman was among the the last to see him. hain's parents still hoping someone with the lead comes along. >> people just don't vanish. people, there has to be someone out there that saw something. >> reporter: shane's roommate brian says he is also doing anything he can to help fine his friend. >> yesterday, i went back with the fbi, and we searched every nook and cranny of my apartment. >> reporter: over the past several days, there have been several search efforts from volunteers on foot to police combing the manayunk canal. the fbi is now on the case, too, calling shane's disappearance mysterious. >> what really makes this a

philadelphia police are looking for would the man who robbed this mt. airy wawa. police say a woman in her 30's may have been high when she pulled out a handgun and robbed that store at germantown avenue and he got away with a hundred dollars. i-95 has reopened after ups tractor trailer jackknifed on the girard point bridge. it happened in the northbound lanes between exits 13 and 17, shortly after midnight. the there is no word on why that tractor trailer jackknifed, fortunate liz no one was hurt. it is 6:03. lets get a check of traffic and weather together and start off with katie. >> nicole, it is raining very light liz here right now on the die deck, not enough to really warrant the umbrella and that is what we will find out here today with these light showers that are still going to be, popping up around the region and in the scattered fashion. it is still chilly but warmer then it was yesterday. we are not seeing any mixing taking place on the radar, rather it is all green. we also have strictly green. we don't to have worry about heavier batches of rain that

will be moving through with this, again, mainly just some light showers and you know, if you are feeling lucky, you will not even see anything at all in the way of rain showers. but watch out for wet roads and damp travel moving out and about here today. in the meantime we have low lying cloud cover and the visability have gotten better since we went on the air at 4:30 here but we can expect to see visability increase with time. we are fining patchy fog up near poconos region right now. temperatures up and down i-95 generally lose 40's. certainly chilly but warm enough that it is just rain. meanwhile we head further northwest and the cold there and but in mount pocono temperatures have climb since we went on the the air at 4:30 this morning. taking it forward in the forecast we will expect a milder afternoon in general. not prettiest day we have ever even but does beat yesterday by comparison and where as we are looking at wet travel rather than icy travel, vittoria. >> any progress is progress. >> we will take it. >> good morning, everyone.

as don champion reports the woman claims, the victim was victimized as a teenager 40 years ago. >> reporter: new lawsuit begins bill cosby was filed in los angeles county superior court. in it judy huth says the comedian sexually abused her in 1974 at the playboy mansion when she was just 15 years old. on the night in question, cosby served her and a 16 year-old friend alcohol. suit claims cosby then told the girls he had a surprise for them, and took them to the playboy mansion. cosby told the girls to lie about their age and say they were 19. hut h says at the mansion she was direct by cosby to a bathroom within a bedroom suite and when she emerge he found cosby sitting on the bed, where she was molested. cosby still refuses to talk about the recent wave of sexual misconduct accusation as begins him. >> there is in response. >> reporter: in recent weeks more than a dozen women raised

this is pretty crazy a car cart wheels down a street and a security camera captured it all. an a alleged drunk driver was behind the wheel at the time. the accident caused extensive damage to other cars and trees in that area. in one was hurt so that is some good news. there is no word on how that car became airborne. a family driving a burning car down a virginia highway

good morning, we will continue to follow breaking news in montgomery county, fire fighters battling a fire in this building located on the 900 block of montgomery avenue in narberth. the fire has been burning for about an hour and a half now and you can see a fast signs store suffer some damage there but we're told all of these buildings were empty. moments ago we got an update from the fire chief. >> we got here, started our attack, we eventually had to pull over and do with a exterior attack due to the conditions that were deteriorating quickly. there was a water main break so we had to go out to find some more water. >> the chief also told us that two roofs have collapsed as a result of this blaze.

if you are driving in this area or have plans to drive-in this area of montgomery avenue remains closed right now between old gulf road and iona avenue. just a heads up in that area, we will have more throughout the morning. it is day seven, in the search for missing west chester university student shane montgomery. now some of the last people to sees him alive sit down exclusively with "eyewitness news", some of the last people to see him. the justin finch joins us from manayunk with more on how shane's cousin and roommate are helping with the investigation when it comes to finding shane, justin, good morning. good morning, ukee, yes, they tell us they are exhausted but still holding out hope that they will find shane, they tell us as you mentioned exclusively they are working with the fbi and police giving them any info they need to find shane. they also happen to be among the the last to see him. it has been almost now nearly a week of an intense search for him including a search of the manayunk canal as well as family and friend posting

flyers all over the city, an all hands on deck effort to find 21 year-old west chester university student shane montgomery. he vanished sometime early thanksgiving morning after a night out of bar hopping and his last stop was kildares irish pub. he got there just before 2:00 in the morning, and close to closing time and once he left, he was walk to the front door, by staff, which did include his cousin, and the bar insist that is shane was not drunk when he he left the bar and that he was in the over served. speaking to "eyewitness news", shane's roommate and cousin are telling us that they are working with the fbi and the police, doing whatever it takes to help find shane. >> the fbi needs me i'll go down there. if the philly police need me i'll go there. i'm just assisting in which way i can. >> yesterday i went back with the fbi and we searched every nook and cranny of my

storm scan three. now it is strictly green, so it is light rain for one thing but strictly rain, you know, we don't have to worry about mixing in the poconos region. temperatures climbing well enough that it will stay above freezing, therefore any wet weather that comes flaw will be strictly rain. we will look at visibility. we had warmer air moving in. air temperatures closer to the to point temperatures, bottom line we have more sad rated air mass allowing for fog to develop and much poor visibility through lehigh rally for example. thirty-five in mount pocono. that is coldest spot, so a high here in lancaster. when any wet weather rolls through it will be strictly rain showers but light. we are not talking about a widespread batch of heavy rain, it is more scattered variety of showers throughout the day, maybe a few peaks of sun along the way too. you know, it is not prettiest day we have ever seen but we will take what we can get. it is milder, vittoria. >> we have that to look forward to at least. traveling on the roads with

the the slick spots that we have and new rush hour upon us, that definitely doesn't, and, and she and eastbound direction, trying to get to the southbound side of i-95, we are dealing with an incident here. you will notice a vehicle off an embankment and emergency teams are on the scene. we have a few police officers stationed on this ramp here so if you are trying to get from woodhaven road to i-95 you will run into this problem. once we get to i-95 run in the problem as well, out of the north east down to the vine you are slow the entire way. we will have breaks in that volume but generally speaking we are delays. traveling on 422 we are seeing that eastbound traffic built around oaks down towards 202. it is not in the full swing of the rush hour just yet but it is slow, 24 hours on the schuylkill, 11 on i-95. biggest pocket 95 southbound near girard and will be westbound at city avenue.

joint inflammation but doesn't tell us what type. there are over a hundred different types of arthritis and one of the most common types of arthritis is osteoarthritis. >> i had that in my hip. >> that is osteoarthritis is wear and tear in the joint. cartilage gets worn down. ligaments and tendons can ab affect to. it is most common cause, 27 million americans have osteoarthritis a lot of track and basketball coming up. >> that is a risk factor. you are right. over use injuries, repetitive use athletes and other risk factors but those people may be prone to arthritis osteoarthritis. >> this is a common complaint though do a lot of people experience it. >> they do. i'm a family doctor. people come in every day with arthritic complaints. commonplacees hands, knees, hip, ukee mentioned the hips but the complaints that people have is they complain of joint pain, stiffness.

they often have worse in the morning time. they may get swelling of the joints and cracking or grinding and the thing that is troublesome is when it keeps us from doing what we want to do in living our daily life good other than surgery what are treatment options. >> there is a lot of treatment options, we think of surgery often as a last resort. it depend on your diagnosis. great over counter medications as well as prescriptions but not just pills but topical cremes, injections. >> do cremes work. >> they can, they are medicated cremes. they can be helpful. but sometimes osteopathic manipulative therapy, massage, acupuncture that may work for back pain as well. >> my mom says he can tell when it will rain because she will feel tonight her joints. is this a myth or is this true. >> i have so many patients that tell me that, family members as well. i was looking at the evidence on this to see what kind have of evidence is behind this. the it is safe to say there air lot of people that can feel weather change nothing their joints but it is not
