really grow. and when it was crunch time in that second half, he made all of the flows that he had to make. so, i thought he was just fine as far as what he has to do against the vikings, i think they have to throw the ball more. we talk about establishing the run a lot, pat, but this is a run defense that like the eagles is very difficult to penetrate. the eagles number one against the run, but the vikings defense is number two. so, they only give up an average of about 3 yards, which tells me that nick foles has to put the ball in the air more often than he did against the falcons. >> so let's talk about those vikings as you mention, very good on both sides of the ball and coming off and a incredible probable win, what do they do best? >> well, they do a lot of things well. but the thing they do best is they are a great defense. they are the number one overall defense in the national football league. as i said, number, number one overall, but number two against the run.

secondary will be fine. >> merrill, one win from the superbowl. will the eagles be going to minnesota in two weeks? >> i think, to be absolutely honest with you, as often as i look at this game as often as i look at the tape of the vikings, i think it is dead even. i honestly believe it is about 50-50. but if i give the eagles an extra edge, it would be playing at the linc before these roaring wonderful eagles fans. i think they can cause some distractions. they can disrupt things. they can make the count, the vikings have to go to silent count a lot. that could be the difference. so if i had to give anybody an edge, it is the eagles and the good olds home field advantage >> god to love it. cannot wait for kick offer. 6:40, sunday evening from lincoln financial field. merrill, thank you so much. >> thanks, pat. see you on the field. >> the great merrill reese, see him obviously on sunday for the pre-game show.
