Chicago Alderman Joe Moore announces that 15 members of the Chicago City Council are seeking to pass a resolution calling for the City to divest from Bank of America if the bank refuses to extend credit to the owners of Republic Windows & Doors. Republic management claims that it can not pay their workers the severance they are due under law, because the bank has refused them further credit.
