Riley Puckett (as "Tom Watson") sings a traditional tune "Liza Jane" in this recording made on September 11, 1924. This is not the often-recorded "Lil' Liza Jane" but one of the many lesser-known songs about the Liza Jane character, I believe "Liza In The Summertime" aka "She Died On The Train" -- unfortunately the lyrics are difficult to decipher. There is a nice (but faint) accompaniment, I'm guessing by Gid Tanner. This is from Silvertone 3261, which was also released as Columbia 15014D. The record is worn, so please excuse the surface noise.
